The award-winning Actors' Conservatory Theatre (ACT-San Diego, www.actsandiego.com) presents an adaptation of Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL, with a 31 member youth and young adult cast. The production is Directed by Bernard Baldan, with Musical Direction by Desha Crownover and Choreography by Erin Petersen. Desert Theatreworks's new version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL is touching and funny. Director Lance Phillips-Martinez adapted the Charles Dickens novella by using Dickens' words for narration and dialog. He also selected period Christmas carols, sung primarily by the chorus,The clever staging, the use of a combination musical chorus and Greek chorus (the latter narrates early parts of the story), the costumes, the make-up, the imaginative sound and lighting, the elements of humor, and, of course, the acting all contribute to the success of this top-notch production.

Titan Theatre Company opened its annual production of Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL last Friday December 4, and the show runs till December 20th at Queens Theatre. The original musical adaptation was conceived by Emily Trask & Lenny Banovez and was named 'Best Production' in the Timesledgers 'Best Of Queens' Awards in 2014. The Public Theater announced today that after three years of successful programming and community engagement, PUBLIC WORKS will grow on both a local and national level.
