Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer and many others will spring to life to share the wit and wisdom of one of America's finest authors this September 11th-12th with MARK TWAIN: 100 YEARS OF COMEDY.

Broadway's most talked about new musical and the biggest Tony Award-winner in years is coming to the Orange County Performing Arts Center.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) has announced that Francois Battiste, Crystal A. Dickinson, Alano Miller and Wendell Pierce will be featured in its upcoming production of BROKE-OLOGY, a new play by Nathan Louis Jackson, directed by Thomas Kail.

Performances will begin Thursday, September 10, for the Lincoln Center Theater production of BROKE-OLOGY, a new play by Nathan Louis Jackson, directed by Thomas Kail at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 W. 65 Street). The cast features Francois Battiste, Crystal A. Dickinson, Alano Miller and Wendell Pierce. BROKE-OLOGY will open on Monday, October 5.

Long Wharf Theatre, under the leadership of Artistic Director Gordon Edelstein and Managing Director Ray Cullom, will present the beloved musical The Fantasticks, directed by Amanda Dehnert, from October 7 through November 1, 2009, on the Mainstage.

Beck Center for the Arts proudly presents its production of the Tony award-winning classic, Fiddler on the Roof, on the Mackey Main Stage, September 19 through October 18, 2009. Show times are 8:00 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3:00 p.m. Sundays. A special Thursday evening performance will take place on October 15 at 8 p.m.

Brooklyn's Brave New World Repertory Theatre is bringing the Bard to the Boardwalk in September with two open air performances of The Tempest by William Shakespeare to be staged on the Coney Island beachfront. Two thousand folding chairs will be provided FREE of charge for audience members on the section of boardwalk adjacent to the Aquarium Education building at 10th Street, which the New York Aquarium is donating for the actors' dressing rooms.

It was announced today that Billy Crystal will bring 700 SUNDAYS, his Tony Award-winning Broadway blockbuster, to six cities for limited engagements this fall, launching at Washington, D.C.'s National Theatre September 8 - 17. The tour will also play Philadelphia, Dallas, Palm Beach, Miami and Atlanta. 700 SUNDAYS, a play performed and written by Mr. Crystal with additional content by Alan Zweibel is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff.

Patrick Waller plays the title role in the Nashville Children's Theatre production of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, running September 22-October 11. Part of Twain and Twang , Nashville's Citywide Celebration of Mark Twain, a year-long salute to the work of writer Mark Twain, Tom Sawyer is a companion piece to the Tennessee Repertory Theatre production of Big River, slated for a run in spring, 2010.
