OpenStage Theatre & Company will hold two individual rounds of auditions for its upcoming 2009-10 season. Open auditions for the first three shows of the season will be held on Monday, July 20, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Professional Facilities Management (PFM) is pleased to announce Veterans Memorial Auditorium's (VMA) 2009/2010 season. Tickets for these performances go on-sale Monday, July 27 at 10A. J.L. 'Lynn' Singleton, PFM President, said, 'I am very happy that PPAC and the VMA are PFM members. PPAC is looking forward to having a stronger relationship with the VMA for the approaching performance season and in the coming years. Both theatres are important and historic cultural centers in Rhode Island, and with the help of PFM, we hope to make major strides in the coming season.'

It was announced today that Billy Crystal will bring 700 SUNDAYS, his Tony Award-winning Broadway blockbuster, to six cities for limited engagements this fall, launching at Washington, D.C.'s National Theatre September 8 - 17. The tour will also play Philadelphia, Dallas, Palm Beach, Miami and Atlanta. 700 SUNDAYS, a play performed and written by Mr. Crystal with additional content by Alan Zweibel is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff.

Auditions for the second show in Pioneer Theatre Company's 2009- 2010 Season, Is He Dead? will be held on Friday, June 5th, 2009 from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. Noon to 1 p.m. is reserved for AEA (Equity) members only, but AEA members may sign up for any time slot. Callbacks will be the morning of Saturday, June 6th, 2009; the time will be announced. Auditions will be held in Room 245 at the Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Auditioners will be required to read from the script.
