Barrington Stage Company, under the leadership of Julianne Boyd, Artistic Director, and Tristan Wilson, Managing Director, has announced two productions for the theater's 20th Anniversary Season - Kiss Me, Kate the musical comedy masterpiece by composer Cole Porter and authors Sam and Bella Spewack and the world premiere romantic comedy Dancing Lessons by Mark St. Germain.
Cape May Stage to Present FREUD'S LAST SESSION, 9/18-10/19

Freud's Last Session will run from Wednesday, September 18 to Saturday, October 19 at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse located on the corner of Lafayette and Bank Streets in downtown Cape May. Performances are at 8 p.m. and occur Tuesdays through Sundays. Tickets are $35 for adults, $30 seniors (62+) and $15 students. A half-price preview performance will take place Wednesday, September 18 followed by the official opening night Thursday, September 19. The NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK (NNPN), the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, has added its 27th member, Contemporary American Theater Festival. The decision was made by the organization's Board of Directors at its Annual Conference on June 6 in Dallas, TX, hosted by Core Member Kitchen Dog Theater.

'Every good story's a war story,' says a character in Scott and Hem in the Garden of Allah, premiering at the Contemporary American Theater Festival. That certainly seems to be playwright Mark St. Germain's approach in imagining a 1937 encounter between writers F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway.
