Geva Theatre Center will be the host of the first TEDxRochester on November 2nd in the Mainstage from 2pm - 7pm. TEDx is a day-long conference featuring presentations by local figures, video broadcasts of speakers from all over the globe, performances and demonstrations by local artists and cultural institutions.

Geva Theatre Center is gearing up for the What's Next: Festival of New Theatre (formerly known as Hibernatus Interruptus) which offers audiences the rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a play in progress as well as the chance to talk to the playwrights about their work. Over the eleven days, each of the plays in the festival will undergo an intensive workshop and will then be presented in script-in-hand performances.

The original off-Broadway cast of the musical FIVE COURSE LOVE (Minetta Lane Theatre, 2005) went into the studios on January 9th and 10th in New York City to record the show's cast album. FIVE COURSE LOVE, with book, music and lyrics by Gregg Coffin, tells the story of five entangled encounters with love in five different restaurants. The scores varied musical styles reflect the cuisines of the different eateries: Country & Western, Italian, German cabaret, Mexican and 50's Doo Wop.
