Geva Theatre Center's 2009/10 Season continues with Almost, Maine by John Cariani, which opens on January 12 and runs in the Mainstage through February 7.

Geva Theatre Center presents the first in its Plays in Progress series of new play readings on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Nextstage: Any Solid Color Other Than Black by Billy Finnegan.

Geva Theatre Center is gearing up for the What's Next: Festival of New Theatre (formerly known as Hibernatus Interruptus) which offers audiences the rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a play in progress as well as the chance to talk to the playwrights about their work. The original off-Broadway cast of the musical FIVE COURSE LOVE (Minetta Lane Theatre, 2005) went into the studios on January 9th and 10th in New York City to record the show's cast album. FIVE COURSE LOVE, with book, music and lyrics by Gregg Coffin, tells the story of five entangled encounters with love in five different restaurants. The scores varied musical styles reflect the cuisines of the different eateries: Country & Western, Italian, German cabaret, Mexican and 50's Doo Wop.
