Theatreworks USA presents the Off-Broadway premiere of the new children's musical SKIPPYJON JONES, the featured production of its 24th Annual Free Summer Theatre Program. SKIPPYJON JONES began performances on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Off-Broadway's Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street). Performances continue through Friday, August 17, 2012. Actor and producer, Mark Consuelos, best known for his role on the long-running soap favorite, "All My Children," will read a portion of the book SKIPPYJON JONES to audience members, many of whom are children who have never been to a live theatrical performance.

As first reported on EWonline, Mark Consuelos will join the cast of FX's popular drama series AMERICAN HORROR STORY. Production on the show's second season begins this week. The actor will portray a patient named 'Spivey'.
