The Secret Garden, with stage direction by Kirk Mouser and musical direction by Alan D. Lytle, is the last show in Lakewood Theatre Company's 2011-12 season. Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF announces its lineup of new play readings, workshops, and panel discussions for PlayFest!

Fox Valley Repertory invites local male youth to submit their headshot and resume for a role in the professional mainstage summer production of AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS at Pheasant Run Resort (4051 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL; telephone 630-584-6342). They are seeking two male actors ages 9-13 years old that will portray a 10-12 year old boy. There is stipend pay.

Bay Street Players will hold auditions for The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge on Tuesday, September 28th at 7:30PM at 109 N. Bay Street, Eustis. Director Joel Warren is looking for 6 males and 2 females ages 18-60 who have strong comedic timing. Those auditioning will read from the script. Newcomers are welcome. Anyone not interested in performing onstage is invited to join our team of volunteers and to learn of backstage opportunities needed for this production.
