For its 40th Anniversary Mainstage Season in the summer of 2014, the Hangar Theatre will produce four plays that offer audiences a spectrum of experiences representing the best of live theatre. Kicking off the season on June 12 is the Tony Award-winning play Red (June 12-21), a passionate and brilliant study of artist Mark Rothko as he attempts to create the largest commissioned exhibit in modern art. Producer Cedric Yau has announced that James Seol will step into the 17 roles originated by Jimmy Ray Bennett in Around the World in 80 Days, beginning Tuesday, September 17th. Bennett's last performance will be Sunday, September 15th at 7pm. Guy LeMonnier heads the cast as the phlegmatic Phileas Fogg, with Shirine Babb, Matt Lutz, and Gary Littman rounding out the ensemble cast. Rachel Klein directs.

They will replace John Gregorio & Stephen Guarino, whose last performance was Sunday, September 1st.
