The B Street Theatre presents five performances of its most popular production ever, Around the World in 80 Days by Mark Brown. Runs today, February 11 to February 15, 2014.

B Street Theatre is taking its hit production of Around the World in 80 Days to India for two weeks. Join us for a very special engagement before it departs featuring the original B Street cast of Michael Stevenson, Amy Resnick, Greg Alexander, Elisabeth Nunziato and David Pierini.

Stampeding elephants! Raging typhoons! Runaway trains! Unabashedly slapstick! Hold onto your seats for the original amazing race! Join fearless adventurer Phileas Fogg and his faithful manservant as they race to beat the clock! Phileas Fogg has agreed to an outrageous wager that puts his fortune and his life at risk. With his resourceful servant Passepartout, Fogg sets out to circle the globe in an unheard-of 80 days. But his every step is dogged by a detective who thinks he's a robber on the run.

Friday and Saturday's performance will have catering, chocolates and champagne after the show for a special meet and greet with the cast, plus a slide show of the places we are visiting in India and more details about the trip from Producing Artistic Director, Buck Busfield.

Around the World in 80 Days will be directed by Buck Busfield and features Michael Stevenson, Amy Resnick, Greg Alexander, Elisabeth Nunziato and David Pierini.

The show runs February 11 -February 15, 2014: Tuesday at 7 pm; Wednesday at 7 pm; Thursday at 7 pm; Friday at 7 pm; Saturday at 8 pm. Previews: Feb 11 at 7 pm, Feb 12 at 7 pm, and Feb 13 at 7 pm. Valentine's Day and Company Bon Voyage: Friday, Feb 14 at 7 pm; Saturday, Feb 15 at 8 pm. All performances take place at the B Street Theatre B3 Stage, 2727 B St., Sacramento. B Street Theatre is a non-profit, professional theatre company producing primarily new work for adults, families and children. The two-theatre playhouse on B Street in Midtown Sacramento is home to the Mainstage Series, B3 Series and Family Series, each created to feature intimate, quality theatre for audiences year-round. Recognized as one of Northern California's top professional theatres, B Street Theatre has produced more than 100 new plays, 60 of which are world, national, West Coast or regional premieres.

B Street Theatre was originally founded in 1986 for the purpose of bringing the excitement of live performance to children through the B Street Theatre School Tour. This educational outreach program serves over 200,000 students in Northern California annually.
