The New York premiere of 'Thankskilling the Musical' will begin on April 29th as part of the 'Festival of the Offensive.' The casting has been announced for the show which will be performed at The Producers' Club, Crown Theatre on West 44th Street.
54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents X Factor finalist and Broadway's own Rachel Potter. Joining her for special guest performances are Orfeh (Legally Blonde, Saturday Night Fever, Footloose), Tituss Burgess (Little Mermaid, Guys and Dolls, 30 Rock), Youtube sensation, and impressionist, Christina Bianco (Newsical, Forbidden Broadway), and fellow X Factor finalist, Khaya Cohen.

The 25th anniversary celebration of GYPSY OF THE YEAR, the culmination of six weeks of extraordinary fundraising by 56 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway, and national touring companies, raised an amazing $4,343,234 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The grand total was announced Tuesday, December 10, at this year's GYPSY OF THE YEAR, which included an array of original dances, songs, and skits performed by more than 250 'gypsies,' the most talented singers and dancers in the ensembles of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. MadBromance Productions announced today that final casting has been set for the 29-hour reading of JAWBREAKER: THE MUSICAL on Thursday, September 26thand Friday, September 27th at 3p.m. With a book by Darren Stein who wrote and directed the 1999 film, JAWBREAKER has music and lyrics by Jeff Thomson and Jordan Mann (Trails), choreography by Shea Sullivan (The Big Gay Musical), musical supervision by James Sampliner (Legally Blonde, The Wedding Singer) and is directed by Gabriel Barre (The Wild Party).

Big Thunder Productions will present Mercury Rising, a Benefit Concert by MSS Alums in the Big Apple, a cabaret event to be performed on Sunday, September 15th at 4pm at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. The event will feature songs from new, bound-for-Broadway musicals written by up-and-coming composers and lyricists from all over the globe, including Mercury Summer Stock's own Dan Marshall, Carla Rose Fisher, and Aliyana Stewart. This benefit concert will feature Broadway's Corey Mach and Drew Aber, and over a dozen of Mercury's NYC-based professional alumni, along with special guest Marissa Rosen.
