Urban Stages, in association with producer/director/lyricist Peter Napolitano, announces a series of musical evenings entitled WINTER RHYTHMS 2012, beginning tonight, December 4 and running through Friday, December 15, 2012 at Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th Street).
Voting is now underway for the Inaugural Cabaret Awards and continues until December 31, 2012. Winners will be announced in early January. Check out the latest standings below.

The seven-week, jury-and audience-voted competition completes three weeks of trials next Monday July 23 (showtime at 7pm), after which the contest will announce the Top 18 contestants who will advance to the next round.

The talent line up has just added the hilarious Christine (S**t Liza Minelli Says) Pedi. Robert Creighton, of the Tony Award winning cast of Anything Goes, will act as auctioneer.

Marissa Mulder, winner of the 2011 MetroStar Talent Challenge, headlines the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, in a special prime time engagement beginning March 7. The world premiere of "Illusions" plays a total of four consecutive nights, Wednesday through Saturday, March 4, 5, 6, 7, all at 7pm. Opening for Mulder will be her MetroStar co-finalists Fran Leonardis and Stacie Perlman on alternating nights.
