Kicking off what is sure to be a dazzling 48th season, Theatre Three offers the Long Island premiere of The Bridges Of Madison County. The Tony winner runs at the Port Jefferson venue through October 28th excellently directed by Theatre Three's Artistic Director Jeffrey Sanzel boasting a top notch cast. The best piece of advice I could give? Be prepared for a rollercoaster of emotions.

The Spring season is officially underway with the start of Memphis at the John W. Engeman Theatre of Northport, Long Island. The multi Tony award winner, directed excellently by Igor Goldin, runs at the gorgeous venue through May 8th and I cannot say enough about this brilliant production. The cast, the passion, the creative team… everything is just top-notch.

Inspired by true events from the underground dance clubs of 1950s Memphis, Tennessee, MEMPHIS follows the fame and forbidden love of a radio DJ who wants to change the world and a club singer who is ready for her big break. Winner of four Tony Awards, including Best Musical, MEMPHIS is filled with laughter, emotion and roof-raising rock 'n' roll, and features a Tony-winning book by Joe DiPietro (I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change) and a Tony-winning score with music by Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan.

 Directed by Trent Blanton, this production aims to give Oliver a grittier, more down to earth feeling than people are used to seeing while still staying true to it's musical theatre roots. The Forestburgh Playhouse was founded in 1947,  and is the oldest continuously operating professional summer theatre in New York State. Dubbed the 'Miracle of the Forest,' close to 30,000 patrons attend various performances every year and the growth shows no signs of slowing down.  As The Forestburgh Playhouse approaches its 69th season, under the new leadership of Producer Franklin Trapp, it continues to thrive and make summer nights special for residents and visitors alike.  

Jump on the bandwagon and join in on the rip-roarin'and rootin'-tootin' fun as Rider University's Westminster College of the Arts presents 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers', running April 24-28 in the Bart Luedeke Center Theater on the main campus of Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J.

The Pulitzer and Tony award winning musical, Next To Normal, by Brian Yorkey and Tom Kitts, is a force to be reckoned with. For its Long Island premier, now playing through June 23rd, Jeffrey Sanzel's incarnation of this dark, rock musical at Theatre Three provides the audience with an honest and heartbreaking glimpse into a family dealing with many varied emotions.
