SPAMALOT, THE LION, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD and More Set for Geva Theatre's 2015-16 Season

Four productions still remain in Geva Theatre Center's 42nd Season: A Body of Water, Lee Blessing's play of memory and identity; The Mountaintop, a reimagining of Martin Luther King's last night on earth; the world premiere of Cass Morgan's journey to discover her roots - The Road to Where; and the season's grand finale, the laugh-out-loud comedy Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. The 2014-2015 Season continued Geva's innovative efforts to connect patrons and artists and art with the community. The 2015-2016 Season will continue to build on that and also usher in a new era as Geva's historic home begins to undergo renovation and transformation.

LATE NIGHT CATECHISM Plays Hershey Theatre Tonight

Catechism classes are never as much fun - or as hilarious - as when they are led by Sister in the international hit comedy Late Nite Catechism by Vicki Quade and Maripat Donovan. Late Nite Catechism will be visit Hershey Theatre tonight, March 13 at 8:00 p.m.

Laguna Playhouse to Present SISTER'S EASTER CATECHISM

Celebrate spring with Sister as she answers the time-worn questions: Why isn't Easter the same day every year like Christmas and Will My Bunny Go To Heaven? Part pageant and WHOLY hysterical, Sister answers questions about pet heaven, unearths the origins of Easter bunnies, Easter eggs, Easter bonnets, Easter baskets and the significance of those adorable baby chicks!

LATE NIGHT CATECHISM Begins Tonight at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts

?Arizona's favorite ruler-wielding nun, Sister, is back in the habit at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts! Starring Patti Hannon, the Late Nite Catechism comedies return by popular demand Jan. 9 through March 28. The original Late Nite Catechism is performed on most Fridays at 8 p.m., and the sequel Late Nite Catechism III: 'Til Death Do Us Part runs on most Saturdays at 8 p.m. A special holiday treat, Sister's Easter Catechism: Will My Bunny Go to Heaven? also returns for a limited engagement March 31 through April 5.

Vicki Quade and Maripat Donovan created a one-woman show called LATE NIGHT CATECHISM back in 1993 which was based on the pair's experiences growing up Catholic in Chicago and on parochial school stories they heard from their families and friends. The show holds the record for the longest running religious comedy in Chicago's history. Its success inspired them to write sequels, including SISTER'S CHRISTMAS CATECHISM: MYSTERY OF THE MAGI'S GOLD.

Laguna Playhouse to Present SISTER'S EASTER CATECHISM: WILL MY BUNNY GO TO HEAVEN?, 4/7-14

The Laguna Playhouse Executive and Artistic Directors, Karen Wood and Ann E. Wareham are delighted to bring back their favorite Sister in a return offering, SISTER'S EASTER CATECHISM: Will My Bunny Go To Heaven?, written and performed by Maripat Donovan (alternating with Nonie Newton-Breen) and directed by Mark Silvia. "Sister is back and as funny as ever. Our audiences are going to be Heaven-sent at this Easter delight," offers Wood. "Our audiences will be resurrected with laughter. What better way to begin the Spring than with an evening with Sister?," adds Wareham. SISTER'S EASTER CATECHISM will begin performances on Monday, April 7 and run through Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.
