The Italian Academy hosts the inaugural concert of *The Stefan Wolpe Fund featuring world premieres and works by Charles Wuorinen, Jonathan Dawe, Matthew Greenbaum and William Anderson tonight, October 30th at 8pm. Also on the program, a New York premiere for string sextet by Charles Wuorinen. Featured artists: JACK Quartet, pianist Steven Beck, Vox n Plux, violist Miranda Cuckson and cellist Jay Campbell. This concert was produced by Zaidee Parkinson and Alanna Maharajh Stone with generous support from *The Roger Shapiro Fund for New Music.

The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts is excited to present its 2014 holiday show, A Christmas Story, the Musical. The Ordway-produced musical comedy will run Nov. 29-Dec. 28, 2014, for a total of 36 performances. THE LAST SHIP - the new musical with music and lyrics by 16-time Grammy Award-winner Sting and book by Tony Award winner John Logan and Pulitzer Prize-winner Brian Yorkey opened last night, October 26. The Last Ship is directed by Tony Award winner Joe Mantello and choreographed by Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Steven Hoggett. Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz (TRK) is proud to present Ana Moura - In Concert on Friday, November 14, 2014. Ana Moura, an award-winning internationally recognized Fado vocalist will perform two shows in one evening, at 6:00pm and 9:00pm, featuring songs from her latest album, Desfado. The soulful Portuguese singer has become a leading exponent of Fado, which personifies the Portuguese psyche with its deeply expressive explorations of universal themes such as lost love, separation, and longing. At TRK, she will perform onstage with Angelo Freire, Pedro Soares, Andre Moreira, Joao Gomes, and Mario Costa. The event is part of Moura's 2014 U.S. Tour, which also features stops in Boston, MA; Storrs, CT; South Orange, NJ; New York, NY; Scottsdale, AZ; Sacramento, CA; and San Francisco, CA.

The critically acclaimed one woman play Dirty Paki Lingerie directed by Erica Gould comes to London after sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Toronto, NYC, Pakistan, and Turkmenistan. Award winning actress and comedy writer Aizzah Fatima debuts her solo play Dirty Paki Lingerie on the West End today, October 24 at Leicester Square Theatre at 9pm, and then plays at Rich Mix Cultural Arts Centre on Saturday, October 25 at 7:30 pm.

The Hilberry Theatre's 52nd season continues with William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, returning to the Hilberry stage for the first time since 2006. The production plays from today, October 24 to December 13, 2014.
