I had the opportunity to chat with international singing star Mario Frangoulis the other day, and it was a simply delightful experience. He'll be performing in St. Louis at the Peabody Opera House on December 6, 2015 along with the legendary Smokey Robinson in a concert that will benefit the Voices For Veterans Organization. This is a group that seeks to end homelessness, especially for those forgotten and neglected soldiers who have bravely served our country. It's a great cause, and it should be a fabulous event. Mario spoke with me about his career, and in particular, his latest release, a holiday album titled TALES OF CHRISTMAS.

The New Group has announced full casting for the company's production of Sam Shepard's Buried Child. Directed by Scott Elliott, this production will feature Larry Pine (Casa Valentina), Rich Sommer ('Mad Men'), Paul Sparks ('House of Cards') and Nat Wolff (Paper Towns), and as previously announced, Taissa Farmiga, Ed Harris and Amy Madigan. Previews begin February 2 in advance of an Official Opening Night on Wednesday, February 17. A limited Off-Broadway engagement is slated through March 13 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street).

Actor and recording artist Corbin Bleu ('Dancing With The Stars,' 'High School Musical') is joining The Actors Fund's 2015 Looking Ahead Awards to present the Judy and Hilary Swank Award for parenting to his parents, Martha Callari Reivers and David Reivers, tonight, December 3 at Taglyan Cultural Complex in Hollywood.

The Angel Light Pictures feature film The Golden Knights is now moving in motion toward pre-production with shooting set to take place in Old Tappan, NJ beginning summer of 2017.  Script penned by Mario Vitellozzi and story by executive producer, Antonio Saillant. Steven Bruman will act as the Entertainment Law Attorney. Both Saillant and Bruman are alumni's of Northern Valley Regional High-school of Old Tappan, and an original team member of the 1979 Golden Knights Football Team. Rene Ross Garza, Filmmaker, entrepreneur and founder of Industrial Visual Group will produce.

Tonight, December 1, The Aviva Players will conclude its 40th Anniversary three-part concert series at The National Opera America Center, 330 Seventh Ave. (at 29th Street), Manhattan with THAT CERTAIN AGE: SHORT OPERAS ABOUT AGING WITH HUMOR AND GRACE. The evening is presented by Aviva Players and Kindred Spirits. Director is Rina W. Elisha and musical director is Barbara Ames. The evening will feature works composed by Anne Phillips, Alice Shields, Mira j Spektor, Haim Elisha and Seymour Barab. Roll call! The team for GREASE: LIVE is getting bigger. The New Group announces a one-week extension for its world premiere of Steve, a new play by Mark Gerrard, directed by Cynthia Nixon.  Due to demand, Steve will now play through Sunday, January 3 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street).  The production, which was originally set to play a limited Off-Broadway engagement through December 27, began previews November 3 and celebrated its Official Opening Night on November 18.
