Announced today on the CBS Daytime program, The Talk, Mario Lopez, host and star of the Emmy-award winning syndicated entertainment news show, Extra, and Sheryl Underwood, one of the hosts of the Emmy-award winning, CBS Daytime program, The Talk, have been named as hosts of the 44th Annual DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Director Diane Quinn, will present Arrabal, with a book written by John Weidman, music by Gustavo Santaolalla / Bajofondo, choreographed by Julio Zurita, and directed and co-choreographed by Sergio Trujillo.

The New Jersey Association of Verismo Opera, a nonprofit organization based in Bergen County, New Jersey, announces tenor Giovanni Simone of Fort Lee, New Jersey will perform the Messenger in the company's grand production of Giuseppe Verdi's classic work, AIDA, on April 23, 2017.  The opera will be performed at 3:00 p.m. at the Bergen Performing Arts Center, located at 30 North Van Brunt Street in Englewood, New Jersey.

Known for staging “the ultimate in intimate productions” (The New York Times), On Site Opera (OSO) presents the U.S. premiere and new site-specific production of Darius Milhaud's La mère coupable (The Guilty Mother). For the premiere, OSO partners with the Darius Milhaud Society and the award-winning International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE). The site-specific production celebrates the 125th birthday of Milhaud and is dedicated to Katharine Warne, composer and founder of the Darius Milhaud Society. La mère coupable also marks the completion of OSO's three-year Figaro Project, in which the company is staging lesser-known operatic adaptations of French playwright Beaumarchais' (1732-1799) famed trilogy of Figaro plays.

SkyPilot Theatre Company, a well-established greenhouse for new works by emerging and established playwrights in Los Angeles, has created a new development track called SkyPilot Runway. The program will launch on April 5th, 2017, with a staged reading of The Cave by Daniel Rover Singer (The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)), directed by Michael A. Shepperd (co-Artistic Director, Celebration Theatre, Los Angeles CA and recent Ovation Award winner for direction of The Boy From Oz.)
