The weather outside may be frightful, but this season, FOX makes the holidays delightful with a sleigh-ful of new and returning Thanksgiving and holiday favorites.

X FACTOR fans received some surprising news on last night's show involving one of the teen contestants. 'We watched the show back and the final 12 we're very happy with, but we believe we made a mistake with one act,' said judge Simon Cowell.

This week, One Direction - the global sensation that rose to fame on the U.K. version of "The X Factor" - will take the stage to perform two songs, "Live While We're Young" and "Little Things," on THE X FACTOR's first LIVE results show of the season, Thursday, Nov. 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), on FOX.

Hosts Khloé Kardashian Odom and Mario Lopez will take THE X FACTOR stage alongside judges Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Britney Spears and L.A. Reid. Then, on Thursday, Nov. 1 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top Finalists will be revealed, and return the following week to face America' vote.

ABC Family's '25 Days of Christmas,' cable's biggest programming event of the year, returns with 25 continuous days of holiday-themed entertainment for the whole family. From December 1 - 25, viewers can ring in the holidays with original movies, holiday specials and returning favorites.

FOX has ordered a third season of THE X FACTOR, it was announced today by Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

The longest-running show in Broadway history, Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, directed by Harold Prince and produced by Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Company, Inc., will proudly welcome Broadway and West End star Sierra Boggess to the New York cast in January 2013 for a limited engagement as leading lady Christine Daae. Ms. Boggess, whose long history with the musical began when she originated the role in the revised Las Vegas production in 2006, has been specifically chosen by the creative team to join the cast in time for the production becoming the first Broadway show ever to celebrate 25 Years.

TLC, home to the most popular wedding programming on TV, announced today the airdate for the MARIO LOPEZ & COURTNEY MAZZA WEDDING SPECIAL following Mario Lopez and his fiancée Courtney Mazza as they prepare for their perfect wedding.
