From the execution of director/choreographer Baayork Lee's Michael Bennett-inspired choreography to the incredible singing performances of Kleban and Hamlisch's memorable classic songs, this is a production of A CHORUS LINE that can stand proudly side-by-side with any acclaimed full production of the musical, regional or otherwise.

The LA Phil's Hollywood Bowl production of A Chorus Line opening July 29 -31 for three performances has been in full tilt rehearsals since last week and BroadwayWorld's own Michael Sterling was there to talk to the stars and get a sneak peek at what audiences can expect on the legendary Hollywood Bowl's massive stage.

Jerry Herman's Broadway classic MAME, with 26-piece orchestra, will be staged by Light Opera Works at Cahn Auditorium in Evanston, August 20 through 28.

The Hollywood Bowl's production of A Chorus Line, which plays July 29-31, will feature all-star cast, including Mario Lopez as Zach, Krysta Rodriguez as Diana Morales, Robert Fairchild as Mike Costa, Spencer Liff as Larry, Mara Davi as Maggie Winslow, J. Elaine Marcos as Connie Wong, and Jason Tam as Paul San Marco. Perhaps a lesser-known cast member is Cassie herself- Sarah Bowden.

New casting has been announced for the Hollywood Bowl's production of A Chorus Line, which won the Tony Award for Best Musical.  The additional cast members announced are Mario Lopez as Zach, Sarah Bowden as Cassie Ferguson, Krysta Rodriguez as Diana Morales, and Courtney Lopez as Kristine Ulrich.

The three hour special, which will include stripped down acoustic performances by Andy Grammer, Ingrid Michaelson, Cold War Kids, Lukas Graham, Ben Rector, Daughtry, Zella Day, Tor Miller, Brendan James, Shawn Hook, The Strumbellas, AudioDamn!, Pentatonix and SafetySuit will premiere on Channel 15 this Friday, May 27th at 7pm EST.
