Grammy Award-winner and actress Ashanti, The View's Joy Behar, Sex and the City's Mario Cantone, Academy Award-nominated actor/writer/director Buck Henry, Ugly Betty's Mark Indelicato, Jersey Boys' Daniel Reichard, Gossip Girl's Matthew Settle, and Cheers' George Wendt will be among the cast of THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD NOT TAKEN, a one-night-only benefit performance celebrating the 5th Anniversary of the Broadway smash WICKED. The Benefit takes place this evening, Monday October 27th.

Actors, musicians and television personalities arrived on the red carpet for the Condé Nast Traveler Reader's Choice Awards on Wednesday, October 15. The luxury travel magazine, which is published by Condé Nast Publications, hosted the event which honored 'The Best of the Best' in the world of travel. Held at the New York Public Library at 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue in New York City, the celebration was hosted by actress Jane Krakowski ('Ally McBeal,' '30 Rock').

Camp Broadway, the award-winning theater arts education and audience development company and American icon, Kermit the Frog, will lead 300 performance-loving kids, ages 10-17, in an original Closing number 'I Believe in Santa Claus,' live in the 82nd Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which will be televised on NBC-TV on November 27, 2008 beginning at 9am.

Jacobs Theatre (242 W. 45th Street) last night, Sunday, October 5, 2008. With a book by award winning children's author & songwriter Dan Elish ('Born Too Short, Confessions of an 8th Grade Basket Case') and Robert Horn (Dame Edna: Back with a Vengeance), 13, A New Musical is directed by Tony Award nominee Jeremy Sams (The Sound of Music in the West End) and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Christopher Gattelli (South Pacific).

The stars of the Showtime Network were out in force on Wednesday September 24th to celebrate the upcoming premieres of 'Dexter' and 'Californication'. Michael C. Hall and Evan Handler were on hand to promote and represent their respective programs, while Mary-Louise Parker came out to support her fellow network stars. The event took place at the Showtime House. Mary-Louise Parker will star in the upcoming Broadway production of Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen. The production features a new adaptation by Christopher Shinn and will be directed by Ian Rickson.

COMEDY CENTRAL and The New York Comedy Festival announced today that they have signed a multi-year partnership. This new deal provides the Festival for the first-time, a national television partner to showcase its prestigious comedy line-up. The Festival, celebrating its Fifth Anniversary, will feature some of today's biggest names in comedy for its 2008 roster including Frank Caliendo, Louis C.K., Craig Ferguson, Carlos Mencia, Joel McHale, B.J. On Monday June 9th, 2008 amfAR presented Honoring with Pride: Honoring Jerry Mitchell: A celebration of the gay and lesbian community's response in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The event featured Taylor Dayne and was hosted by Mario Cantone. In addition to Jerry Mitchell the event honored Julie Davids and the company Kiehl's Since 1851.
