This September, John Abernathy will return to the Marquee Room at the Stadium Theatre in a brand new cabaret show 'Give My Regards' featuring the music of Broadway. Backed by Tom LaMark on piano, the show will include songs from 'West Side Story', 'Wicked', 'The Lion King', 'Avenue Q', and many more.

Maestro LUKE FRAZIER and THE AMERICAN POPS ORCHESTRA - Washington, DC's innovative hometown orchestra - will honor the 75th birthday of one of the country's most treasured legends with Respect: The Music of Aretha Franklin to begin their star-studded third season.

The Metropolitan Room, a New York entertainment mainstay since it opened its doors in May 2006, will be moving to larger and more elegant quarters - including a restaurant, piano bar and two performance rooms - managing partner Bernie Furshpan is announcing today.

Dubbed "The greatest white female singer in the world" by none other than Ella Fitzgerald, star vocalist Marilyn Maye took Provincetown audiences by storm in her highly anticipated debut at The Art House six summers ago, and again each year since. This celebrated living legend returns to the Broadway @ The Art House series by popular demand again this summer from August 4 - 7 at 7:00 PM.

Maestro LUKE FRAZIER and THE AMERICAN POPS ORCHESTRA — Washington, DC's innovative hometown orchestra — have announced their all-star 2017-2018 season. The diverse line-up will include a tribute to legendary soul singer Aretha Franklin, a special evening combining yoga with the APO's favorite standards, a new family show based on the classic tale Around the World in 80 Days, and a program celebrating the wit of iconic songwriter Cole Porter. Unless otherwise noted, all shows are at the Orchestra's new home, Arena Stage at The Mead Center for American Theater (1101 Sixth Street SW). Roger Schmelzer's recent New York cabaret debut was a double success; not only was his Metropolitan Room performance found "delightful" by one critic, he has nearly tripled his personal fundraising goal in support of childhood cancer research.
