Fresh from the success of Night of a Thousand Judys, The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the acclaimed comedy/variety show - has moved to 54 BELOW for a six-month run. The next show will be on Wednesday, October 30 at 9:30 PM.

For four magical nights this week, the Mabel Mercer Foundation will present a sparkling array of America's leading cabaret stars. Among the 60 outstanding artists who will take the stage at the Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center from today, October 7th through 10th are multiple Grammy Award winner Jack Jones, Marilyn Maye, Steve Ross, Karen Akers, Nellie McKay, and Barbara Carroll.

Following an unprecedented thirty-one show run, SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED, the acclaimed and award-winning cabaret series, continues on Sunday, October 20 at 7pm at 54 Below. Sondheim Unplugged is currently celebrating the third year of it's smash run, having begun this journey of celebrating Sondheim in July of 2010.

Judy Garland. Frank Sinatra. Fred Astaire. Ginger Rogers. These are just a few of the stars of the silver screen thatChristine Pedi and Johnny Rodgers will be bringing to life in their performance "Heartthrobs & Bombshells" on Friday, October 18th at 8 p.m. atStamford's Palace Theatre. The performance is the second in the Courtyard by Marriott Stamford Broadway/Cabaret/Jazz Series "Perfect Pairs at The Palace." The series is also sponsored by Norman Drubner. Now that the legendary Elaine Stritch and Julie Wilson have retired from performing, the only celebrity 80-plusers who have been performing regularly on the cabaret circuit are the equally legendary Barbara Cook and Marilyn Maye. But now there's another octogenarian on the scene and while he may not be a legend, George Marcy is an 86-year-old former Broadway musical theater actor/dancer who recently staged a totally charming and entertaining show at Don't Tell Mama.

This October and November, 54 BELOW,the performance venue in the grand tradition of New York City nightlife, presents an exciting lineup of the brightest talent from Broadway and beyond. Located just below legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street.

On Monday night, the Broadway at Birdland concert series presented the long-awaited return of MONTGOMERY, MAYES & STRITCH, the vocal trio starring Sharon Montgomery, Sally Mayes and Billy Stritch. For the first time in 32 years, the trio dazzled the New York music scene with a packed house of fans and friends, including Liza Minnelli, Rex Reed, Klea Blackhurst, Jeff Harnar, Natalie Douglas and Bubba McNeeley. On September 21, Macchia--who works full-time as a florist by day and part-time as a manager at the Metropolitan Room by night--will celebrate his 'Fierce and Fabulous' 40th birthday with the launch of Season Eight of Cabaret Cares. Over the first seven years of the variety series, now staged at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, Macchia has raised more than $80,000 to help children from infants to teenagers suffering from HIV and AIDS. During the first year, funds raised through the Cabaret Cares benefit shows helped 22 children. Now Macchia's Help Is On The Way charity-which is run out of Joseph's home and has no salaried staff--services around 650 kids, supplying everything from school backpacks to weeks at a summer camp.

Justin Sayre and The Meeting* were named one of the Top 10 nightclub shows of 2011 by Time Out New York, received the 2012 Bistro Award for 'Comedy Artistry' and a 2011 MAC Award nomination for Best Male Comedy Performance.

'Our audiences have diverse tastes when it comes to programming so we do our best to satisfy those tastes with a wide variety of events,' says Palace Theatre Executive Director, Michael E. 'Count' Basie, one of the pre-eminent jazz pianists in the country, nicknamed Grammy nominated pianist Judy Carmichael 'Stride,' acknowledging the command with which she plays this technically and physically demanding jazz piano style. Stephen Holden of the New York Times called Steve Ross the 'Crown Prince of New York Cabaret.' Tonight, September 7th at 8p.m. for one night only, this 'royal' duo of jazz and cabaret come together on the HARMAN Stage to kick off the Courtyard by Marriott Stamford Broadway/Cabaret/Jazz Series 'Perfect Pairs at The Palace.' This series is also sponsored by Norman Drubner.

The Crazy Coqs October schedule begins with Steven Brinberg, who returns following his sell-out show earlier this year with Simply Barbra (October 1- 5), followed by Les Miserables actress and singer Frances Ruffelle and her show Paris Original (October 8 - 12). New York singer-pianist Billy Stritch performs his show I've Got Your Number - The Jazz of Cy Coleman (October 15- 19). As part of the London Festival of Cabaret, Karen Kohler and KT Sullivan will duet together in their show Vienna to Weimar (October 22- 26) followed by KT Sullivan with Rhyme, Women and Song (October 29 - November 2).

Segerstrom Center's Cabaret Series welcomes two of music's consummate performers, Marilyn Maye and Clint Holmes, as they make their Center debuts November 14 - 16 in Samueli Theater. MarilynMaye has been called one of the greatest voices in the world and a national treasure. Her career has included Big Bands, cabarets, musical theater and television. Clint Holmes has been named Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year a total of three times and Singer of the Year four times.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announced tickets will go on sale today, August 23, for an outstanding season of performances including Pittsburgh Dance Council, Trust Cabaret Series, and Cohen & Grigsby Trust Presents presentations.
