The Hollywood Arts Council's 26th Annual Charlie Awards will take place at The Blossom Room in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel at noon today, March 29, 2012. On Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the North Hollywood Church of Religious Science some of Hollywood and Broadway's finest gathered to honor and remember Paul Ainsley, who passed away on January 20, 2013. However, the award-winning theatre company still must raise $500,000 by year's end to continue serving the region.

According to Steve Julian, The Colony Theatre in Burbank, Calif., has just announced an emergency 'Save the Colony' campaign in order to remain open. Founded in 1975, the theatre has been producing shows for 37 years. The Colony must raise $49,000 in less than two weeks, plus $500,000, including pledges, by the end of the year to stay afloat.
