The nominations were released earlier this month for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards. Mad Men topped the list with 19 nominations, followed by Boardwalk Empire with 18, Modern Family with 17, Saturday Night Live with 16, Game of Thrones and 30 Rock with 13 and GLEE with 12. GLEE was a big hit at this year's Comic-Con yesterday, July 24. The event featured a sneak peek at never-before-seen GLEE footage and behind-the-scenes secrets, followed by a Q&A session in which fans asked everything they ever wanted to know about the Golden Globe-winning series. Darren Criss, Harry Shum Jr., Jenna Ushkowitz, and Dot Marie Jones represented the cast, greeting thousands of fans. Co-creators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, as well as producers Dante di Loreto and Zack Woodlee and GLEE in 3D director Evin Tancharoen were there for the production team. Tuta Theatre West has announced their production of Stones in His Pockets, by Marie Jones, featuring two actors, Andrew Friedman and Jerry Richardson, playing 15 roles. Directed by Zeljko Djukic, Stones in His Pockets will play one preview performance on August 18 and is set to open on Friday, August 19 at 8pm. The engagement will run for five weeks only, through Saturday, September 17, 2011.
