Previews begin TONIGHT, March 10th at 8PM, for Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) new Broadway production of Anything Goes, starring Tony® Award winner Sutton Foster as "Reno Sweeney" and Tony® and Academy® Award winner Joel Grey as "Moonface Martin.

Ten Chimneys, offering a revealing look at Broadway legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, will be presented in a staged reading starring Dana Ivey (The Importance of Being Earnest), Boyd Gaines (Driving Miss Daisy) and Lisa Banes (Go Back to Where You Are) by The Acting Company on Monday, March 14 at 7pm at the Mainstage Theater of Playwrights Horizons, 416 West 42nd Street. Directed by David Ira Goldstein, artistic director of Arizona Theatre Company, where Ten Chimneys had its recent World Premiere, the play is by Jeffrey Hatcher (Tuesdays with Morrie, Murder by Poe). Reception with the cast, director and writer follow the performance. Tickets are $60 and $35 available at 212-258-3111.

Angela Lansbury and Friends (and what incredible friends she has!), an all-star salute to Terrence McNally, has been announced for Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Longacre Theatre at 7 pm. A benefit for The Acting Company, Ms. Lansbury has gathered Audra McDonald, Alan Cumming, Tyne Daly, Edie Falco, Roger Rees and Raul Esparza who will sing, share memories and recreate scenes from dozens of McNally hits. John Glover, Marin Mazzie, Joyce DiDonato, Malcolm Gets, Emily Skinner, Alexandra Silber, Bobby Steggert, Jason Danieley and Stephen Bogardus will round out the evening.

In a co-production with Indiana Repertory Theatre, Pioneer Theatre Company will produce The Diary of Anne Frank, March 18 through April 2, 2011.

With opening night on Friday, October 21, 2011, the 55th international season - "Tragic Obsessions" - will showcase compelling works by Donizetti, Janacek, Wagner, Verdi and Mozart, and will include an outstanding Dallas opera-in-concert, important debuts and some of the company's most renowned productions. Each opera will feature the superbly talented Dallas Opera Orchestra and Dallas Opera Chorus and will be performed in its original language, with English translations projected above the stage at every performance. Exclusive subscriber extras include "A Cabaret Evening with Patricia Racette" and a fun-filled family concert starring soprano Ava Pine and the Dallas Opera Orchestra.

The Joffrey Ballet presents the Midwest premiere of Ronald Hynd's The Merry Widow for its Winter program in the current 2010-2011 Stars season. Hynd originally choreographed the three-act story ballet for The Australian Ballet in 1975, set to an adaptation of Franz Lehár's 1905 romantic operetta The Merry Widow. This evening-length work, also a company premiere, will be performed for the final time at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, 50 East Congress Parkway, February 27, 2011.

Katy Visual & Performing Art Center's Encore Players gave it their all in their final performance of The Diary of Anne Frank on Sunday afternoon. The play, directed by Tina Morille, along with Assistant Director Jordan Morille, was, in Morille's words 'about real people, during a real time in history, being forced to undergo real feelings and raw emotion in a literal and metaphorical cramped space.'

Christina Ricci is currently in the negotiating stages of a new 1960s ABC series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. 'Pan Am' would follow the stories of those working in the title airline, from pilots to stewardesses; Margot Robbie has been cast as one such stewardess and Michael Mosley has been cast as a pilot.

Signature Theatre Company (Founding Artistic Director James Houghton; Executive Director Erika Mallin) is pleased to announce a fourth extension for the first New York revival of Tony Kushner's ANGELS IN AMERICA: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, directed by Michael Greif.

KVPAC's Encore Players are currently in rehearsal with the transcendently powerful new adaptation by Wendy Kesselman of The Diary of Anne Frank from the original stage play by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett. Directed by Tina Morille, this Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning play will run two weekends, February 11-13 and 18-20, 2011. All shows will begin at 8:00pm, except for Sunday's performances which are matinees and will begin at 2:00pm.
