The Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by American Express, today announced its feature film selections in the Spotlight and Cinemania sections, as well as Special Screenings and the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival lineup. The 11th edition of the Festival will take place from April 18 to April 29 in New York City.

The Dallas Opera presents the third main stage production of the 2011-2012 "Tragic Obsessions" Season: Giuseppe Verdi's tender and bittersweet romance, LA TRAVIATA, opening Friday, April 13, 2012 at 7:30 PM in the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House at the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Downtown Dallas. This will be the first time Verdi's "Fallen Woman" has appeared on the Winspear stage.

Park Square Theatre presents its annual production of THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK, based on one of the 20th Century's most inspiring and enduring narratives. The story comes to life in three public performances March 1 & 3 at 7:30 p.m., and March 31 at 1 p.m. at Park Square Theatre, 20 W. Seventh Place, Saint Paul. Daytime performances for students run February 27 through May 18, 2012.

The Martha Graham Dance Company (Janet Eilber, Artistic Director; LaRue Allen, Executive Director) is having a special engagement at The Joyce Theater, NYC; March 13-18. Inner Landscape, the latest offering in the company's innovative series of thematic performances including contextual media and narration, features the acclaimed Graham psychological works in which she laid bare the human psyche. There will be two programs presented by the company as well as a Family matinee show on Saturday-March 17 at 2:00pm. New works by Lar Lubovitch and Yvonne Rainer premiere on March 13 and 15 respectively. Both programs will open with an abstract film montage which overlays excerpts of Graham dancing her psychological works with moments from psychological films of the same era. Broadway In Chicago and the producers of the new musical THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards® including Best Musical, announced today that single tickets for THE BOOK OF MORMON in Chicago will go on sale only to American Express Cardmembers March 2, 2012 at 10 a.m. and will remain on sale through March 15, 2012. Signature Theatre (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director) has announced that performances begin tonight for the world premiere production of Katori Hall's HURT VILLAGE, directed by Patricia McGregor.

Brent Barrett, Jenn Harris and cast members from SILENCE! THE MUSICAL are set for a CD signing and performance at Barnes & Noble on the Upper East Side on February 23rd.

The Guthrie Theater and The Acting Company have reunited to present Julius Caesar, a contemporary spin on Shakespeare's conspiratorial political tragedy. Now in its fourth year, this burgeoning partnership between the Guthrie and The Acting Company is a productive training ground that showcases the talents of up-and-coming actors. Directed by Rob Melrose, this production of Julius Caesar boasts an intentionally contemporary look and feel and features graduates of the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater B.F.A. Actor Training Program, A Guthrie Experience for Actors in Training and alumni of The Acting Company.

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities will hold auditions for the musical, Legally Blonde at the Arvada Center, April 5 and 6; and in New York City, April 9 -11. Legally Blonde will be directed by Gavin Mayer, with musical direction by David Nehls and choreography by Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck. The Arvada Center Artistic Producer is Rod A. Lansberry.

The Dallas Opera will present Richard Wagner's intense and passionate drama, TRISTAN & ISOLDE, for the first time in nearly forty years. This new TDO production opens Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 7:00 PM in the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House at the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Downtown Dallas.

THE INTERGALACTIC NEMESIS-the "live-action graphic novel" production touring the nation-is scheduled to appear on tonight's Valentine's Day broadcast of Conan. The creative team behind the production is at O'Brien's studio for a taping of a segment of the show that will include O'Brien himself, along with comedy partner Andy Richter.

"Sweet Charity is one of the best musicals ever written", says Garsson, who helmed last year's BRTG hit production of Cabaret. "All the elements clicked back in 1966: Gwen Verdon, one of theater's greatest dancers, Bob Fosse, choreographer and director, and most importantly a very jazzy score by the legendary Cy Coleman. "The score, with its witty lyrics by Dorothy Fields, features such classics as Big Spender, If They Could See Me Now, and Rhythm of Life. "These are songs we sang in high school and summer camp."

Patti LuPone will be celebrated in an all-star evening of song and memories on Monday, March 12. The Acting Company will salute a founding member and board director with the help of two other founding members, Kevin Kline and David Schramm, joined by Kristin Chenoweth, Sutton Foster, Harvey Fierstein, Zoe Caldwell, Laura Benanti, Boyd Gaines, Michael Urie, Melissa Errico, Howard McGillin, Steven Pasquale, Anthony Dean Griffey, Manoel Feliciano, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. The Acting Company will present a benefit staged reading of Tennessee Williams' Suddenly Last Summer at 7 pm on Monday, February 13 at the Mainstage Theater (Playwrights Horizons). The performance, starring Dana Ivey (The Help, Importance of Being Earnest), Rebecca Brooksher (The Good Wife), Betsy Aidem (Dreams of Flying Dreams of Falling), Chad Hoeppner (Come Back Little Sheba, Butley) Neal Huff (When I Come to Die, The Little Dog Laughed) and Pamela Nyberg (Doubt tour) will be followed by a reception with the cast and director, Jodie Markell (The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond). This season's Early Music concerts began with a smashing sold-out performance by perennial favorites, The Tallis Scholars, with a beautiful program centered around the Magnificat. The series continues in 2012 with three more Early Music concerts, two in Midtown Manhattan at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin(affectionately known as Smoky Mary's) and one uptown at The American Academy of Arts & Letters.

To kick off its 2012 season, the Overtime Theater in San Antonio presents a new melodrama, GHOSTS IN THE AFTERNOON, written by Bernard and Simon Taylor. The production is directed by Matthew Byron Cassi.

Rehearsals now underway for the new Broadway production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's legendary seven-time Tony Award-winning musical, EVITA,.The musical stars Olivier Award-winning Argentinean actress Elena Roger making her Broadway debut as Eva Peron, world renowned music artist Ricky Martin as Che and Tony Award-winner Michael Cerveris as Juan Peron. The cast will also feature Christina DeCicco as the alternate for Eva Peron (Weds eve; Sat mat), Max von Essen as Magaldi and Rachel Potter as the Mistress. Directed by Tony and Olivier Award-winner Michael Grandage and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Rob Ashford, EVITA begins previews on March 12 and Opening Night is set for April 5, 2012. Signature Theatre just announced that the company will produce the world premiere of Kenneth Lonergan's new play MEDIEVAL PLAY, which Lonergan will also direct. The production runs May 15 - June 24, 2012 with a June 7 opening night in The End Stage Theatre at the Company's new Frank Gehry-designed home The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Casting will be announced at a later date.
