NOW.HERE.THIS. -- which last year received a Developmental Lab Production at The Vineyard - will be given a fully staged, world-premiere production with previews beginning March 7 prior to an official press opening of March 28 at the Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street), it has been announced by Artistic Director Douglas Aibel, and Co-Artistic Director Sarah Stern. The Guthrie Theater and The Acting Company reunite to present Julius Caesar, a contemporary spin on Shakespeare's conspiratorial political tragedy, from January 14 - February 5 in the Dowling Studio.

"Sweet Charity is one of the best musicals ever written", says Garsson, who helmed last year's BRTG hit production of Cabaret. "All the elements clicked back in 1966: Gwen Verdon, one of theater's greatest dancers, Bob Fosse, choreographer and director, and most importantly a very jazzy score by the legendary Cy Coleman. "The score, with its witty lyrics by Dorothy Fields, features such classics as Big Spender, If They Could See Me Now, and Rhythm of Life. "These are songs we sang in high school and summer camp."

Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's landmark musical EVITA opens April 5, 2012 at the Marquis Theatre. Previews begin Monday, March 12, 2012. Signature Theatre today opened The Pershing Square Signature Center, its new, permanent home designed by Frank Gehry. This May, the New Museum will present an exhibition of four films by British artist Tacita Dean-the most substantial presentation of the artist's work in New York to date.

Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's legendary seven-time Tony Award-winning musical, EVITA, will feature Christina DeCicco (Glinda in Wicked, Sister Act) as the 'Eva Peron' alternate when the show opens this Spring n Broadway. DeCicco will play 'Eva' on Wednesday evening and Saturday matinee performances- with the exception of Wed. March 14 and Wed. April 4, when Elena Roger will play both matinee and evening performances.
