BroadwayWorld has just learned that Phoenix Entertainment has on its agenda a touring revival of RAGTIME to commence in the Fall of 2015. It will be helmed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge, who received a Tony Nomination as Best Director for the 2009 Broadway revival. This new tour will be much in the spirit of that production which was nominated for 7 Tony Awards in 2010.
Producers Betty Ann Besch Solinger and Alice Chebba Walsh will present a private stage reading of the new musical SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL on June 12 and June 13, 2014 in New York. Based on the Jane Austen novel of the same name, SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL had a critically acclaimed world premiere in 2013 at the Denver Center Theatre Company. SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL features a book and lyrics by Jeffrey Haddow, music by Neal Hampton and direction, and musical staging by Tony Award nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Ragtime).

The Muny has announced the principle casting for its fourth show of its 96th season, The Addams Family, directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge, choreographed by Vince Pesce, with musical direction by Ben Whiteley. The Addams Family is sponsored by Missouri Lottery.

The new documentary about stage and screen legend Elaine Stritch, Elaine Stritch: SHOOT ME is set for a limited release beginning today, February 21, 2014 at New York City's IFC Center and Lincoln Plaza Cinema. For its 22nd annual Spring Gala, the Kennedy Center will salute the more than 13 year tenure of Kennedy Center president Michael M. Kaiser with Camelot in Concert on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 8 p.m. in the Concert Hall. The famed 1960 musical features book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner with music by Frederick Loewe and this semi-staged concert version will be adapted, directed and choreographed by Tony Award® nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge. The concert staging will be accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Music Director James Moore. With this concert, Camelot makes its Kennedy Center debut. One of the co-chairs of the 2014 Spring Gala will be Laysha Ward, President, Target Community Relations.
