On May 3 at 7 pm, Kerry Kennedy and the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, and The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) presented a one-night-only benefit reading of Ariel Dorfman's play SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER: Voices From Beyond The Dark, adapted from Kerry Kennedy's book of the same name. All proceeds from the reading benefited the relief efforts of Habitat for Humanity in Chile. BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the evening's after-party arrivals.

According to a report by EW.com, Marcia Gay Harden is set for a multi-episode arc on the upcoming season of USA's 'Royal Pains', which will premiere on June 3. Harden will be playing Dr. Elizabeth Blair, a surgeon and Board member at Hamptons Heritage Hospital, and an enemy turned mentor of Jill's. 'Royal Pains' airs every Thursday at 9PM on USA.

News back in April that she'd love to have Kerry Washington (currently starring in David Mamet's RACE on Broadway) play her lesbian lover in the film. E! caught up with Washington recently and she was delighted with the idea. She told E! 'It's very exciting. I feeling like I've been waiting to make out with her forever.'
