The Irish play that led to riots in the streets of Dublin when it debuted 103 years ago and became a comic masterpiece, The Playboy of the Western World, opens the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival's 19th season. With previews June 16 and 17, the play opens June 18 in the Schubert Theatre and continues through July 3.

Yesterday, June 14, the Apollo Theater hosted the 'Spring Benefit Concert & Awards Ceremony' in New York City, NY. The night's host was comedian, multi-platinum recording artist and Oscar-award winning, actor Jamie Foxx. This year will feature the induction of two royal new honorees into the Apollo Legends Hall of Fame: the undisputed King of Pop Michael Jackson, and the one and only Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin. Series leads 'Dr. Hank Lawson' (Mark Feuerstein) and his brother 'Evan R.Lawson' (Paulo Costanzo), get their own talking bobblehead figures and other new products will include a 'HankMed' digital thermometer, 'HankMed' branded T-shirts, water bottles, baseball caps and mugs.
