Rubicon Theatre of Ventura has announced a two-week extension of the company's World Premiere presentation of WOMEN BEYOND BORDERS, a funny, poignant and powerful new play about the shared experiences of women everywhere, inspired by the remarkable true journey of a small group of women artists who wanted to find a way to inspire change through creative expression.

59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to add the NYC premiere of AFTER, written by Michael McKeever and directed by Joe Brancato, to the Winter 2018 Season. Produced by Penguin Rep Theatre and InProximity Theatre Company, AFTER begins performances on Tuesday, March 12 for a limited engagement through Sunday, April 14. Press Opening is Sunday, March 17 at 2 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Friday at 7 PM; Saturday at 2 PM & 7 PM; and Sunday at 2 PM. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison). Single tickets are $25 - $70 ($49 for 59E59 Members). Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Donald Margulies and directed by James O'Neil, Collected Stories is a two-person play featuring Susan Clark (Emmy Winner - 'Babe Zaharias,' 'Webster,' Shaw Festival and the Taper) as a brilliant, direct writing professor and Meghan Andrews (Frost/Nixon and The Grapes of Wrath on Broadway) as her eager-yet-talented student. Opening tonight, May 28th at 7:00 p.m., Collected Stories runs Wednesdays through Sundays until June 21st.

Clearwater Theatre's production of Next to Normal received rave reviews last year and is back again at Tarragon Theatre for a limited run this week. The Tony and Pulitizer Prize winning show tells the story of a family struggling to cope with issues surrounding mental illness, and packs a hefty emotional wallop. With some fantastic tunes and a heartfelt story, this is an eye opening musical likely to make you laugh and cry. Joining the cast this time around are Steffi DiDomenicantonio, Marty Burt and David Coomber. Today BWW is speaking with Steffi D about her experience playing Natalie, meeting Alice Ripley and more.

Noted entertainment attorney Eric S. Goldman will produce Gay Bride of Frankenstein Off-Broadway in the 2011-2012 season. Written by Dane E. Leeman (book) & Billy Butler (book, music & lyrics), Gay Bride of Frankenstein is a pop/rock, fairy tale musical that follows the exploits of four high school friends on one fateful Halloween night at a very unconventional Monsters Ball. It's John Hughes meets Scooby-Doo, and asks the age old question: 'Will the girl get the girl?'

Paul Gross Joins Kim Cattrall in Pre-Broadway PRIVATE LIVES in Toronto this Fall

Noel Coward's Private Lives, which played the West End's Vaudeville Theatre for a ten week season beginning in February 2010 starring Kim Cattrell and Matthew Macfadyen, will travel across the pond and open at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in September in a Mirvish production. Cattrall will also star in this production, which reportedly has an eye for Broadway. She will be joned in Toronto by Paul Gross. Richard Eyre will continue on as director.
