The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation has announced the cast for the third annual Born for Broadway benefit, which will take place at the American Airlines Theatre, 227 West 42nd Street, on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 8 PM. Tony nominated director Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Ragtime) will direct; Lawrence Yurman (On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, Grey Gardens) is the Musical Director.

kef theatrical productions has announced an upcoming partnership with Justin Brill (WICKED national tour) to present a four week run of Steven Strafford's METHTACULAR! The production will run at the Playroom Theatre at 151 West 46th Street in New York beginning August 30th. The show is currently slated to run through September 23rd.

Voices in Unity, the 70 member choir of Unity of New York, with guests Spiritus vocal ensemble, Broadway's Rosena Hill, award-winning cabaret vocalist Marieann Meringolo, spoken word artist Gha'il Rhodes Benjamin and others, will be in concert Celebrating Miracles at Peter Norton Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway at 95th Street on Monday, April 23rd, 2012 at 7:30 PM. Voices in Unity share their musical diversity with selections ranging from Gospel to Broadway and Pop to Classical. The concert is put together by Music Director Britt Hall, who creates repertoire, dynamic medleys and selects guest artists to perform with the choir.

With two shows at 8pm and 10pm on Saturday, April 14, Mack & Poppy will once again sashay into M Bar, this time with a musical look at their marriage and professional partnership.

A new revival of MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth will continue the Marx Theatre season at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.

YoungArts, the core program of the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts is proud to welcome several world-renowned artists to Miami January 9-14, 2012, to serve as Master Teachers for YoungArts Week. Every year YoungArts selects approximately 150 of the nation's most talented 17-18 year old artists to travel to Miami for YoungArts Week, an all-expense paid weeklong gathering that includes master classes, workshops, readings, and exhibitions and performances that are open to the public. This year's class of students will have the exclusive experience of participating in master classes with Robert Redford, Bill T. Jones, Jacques d'Amboise, Jon Secada, Malcolm Gets and Debi Mazar. They will also participate in a special arts advocacy session with Robert L. Lynch (Americans for the Arts).

Michael Riedel reports in today's New York Post that both LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE and LEAP OF FAITH are considering making Spring bows on Broadway as they evaluate both potential available theatres and 'Best New Musical' competitors. Talking to producers for LEAP OF FAITH, Riedel reports 'When I asked about their plans, they said: " 'Leap of Faith' is planning to open [in] fall 2012. If we were presented with the possibility of a spring opening, we would strongly consider it, but many pieces would have to fall into place to make that happen." M & P Productions has announced a rare Hollywood appearance by the legendary Mack & Poppy, one of the nation's most celebrated lounge acts, in their new holiday show, It's Christmas! (and lesser holidays celebrated by Heathens).

BONNIE & CLYDE is currently playing at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. The show began previews on Friday, November 4th and opens tonight, December 1st!

Saturday night, November 19th, Melissa Errico made her long awaited return to solo concert-ing at the newly renovated (beautifully) Joe's Pub. The venue was packed with family, friends and fans who, pretty much, went wild when she walked up onto the stage. She was accompanied by an unbelieveably expert trio of musicians led by the legendary John Oddo. The evening's music program was extremely well chosen and beautifully performed and sung. Errico's patter, storytelling and anecdotal skills were also on show, in top form and wildly entertaining.
