The CHICAGO ONE-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL (#1MPF) returns for its ninth year! The marathon evening of one-minute plays by 70 of Chicago's established and emerging playwrights and directors plays two nights only, Tuesday, June 26 and Wednesday, June 27 at 8 pm at The Den Theatre, 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

The Public Theater is currently presenting its Free Shakespeare in the Park production of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, directed by Lear deBessonet with choreography by Chase Brock. Inspired by the theme, "Nevertheless, We Persisted," the marathon evening of one-minute plays by 60 of Chicago's established and emerging woman-identified playwrights and directors plays two nights only, Tuesday, May 2 and Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at The Den Theatre, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood. Tickets ($18 in advance, $20 at the door) are currently available at thedentheatre.com/events.

Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. is ending its 30th and final season of theater with Abbie Hoffman Died For Our Sins XXVIII. This event will take place at The Den Theater at 1333 N. Milwaukee on August 19, 20, & 21.

Daniel Baldwin's independent feature film, The Wisdom to Know the Difference, continues to garner kudos from the filmmaking community, being awarded Best Feature Film and Baldwin himself earning a Best Actor win at the Burbank International Film Festival.

Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. will present its 26th annual Abbie Hoffman Died for Our Sins Theater Festival, featuring three days of virtually non-stop theatrical entertainment on August 15, 16 & 17, 2014 at Angel Island, 731 W. Sheridan Rd. in Chicago. Abbie Fest, as it's affectionately called, was originally created to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Woodstock Music and Art Fair in Bethesda, NY. Since then, Mary-Arrchie has concluded its past 25 seasons by inviting any and all theater groups and performers into its performance space for the annual festival.
