Korea's BIGBANG ALIVE GALAXY TOUR 2012 Kicks Off in U.S. Today, 11/3

YG Entertainment and Live Nation announced the first ever U.S. tour dates by world famous Korean group BIGBANG. Two concerts have been confirmed in the United States, part of the BIGBANG ALIVE GALAXY GLOBAL TOUR 2012, including today, November 3rd at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, and November 9th at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10:00 am (ET/PT) Today, September 22, 2012 at LiveNation.com.

Brehm Gift Launches Building Expansion at U-M School of Music, Theatre & Dance

The University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance (SMTD), ranked among the top performing arts schools in the nation, has received an $8-million gift from William K. and Delores S. Brehm to renovate and expand one of the school's principal North Campus buildings, the Earl V. Moore Building, pending regental approval at the Nov. 15 meeting.

THE VOICE's Chris Mann Release s'Roads' Album Today, 10/30

Today, October 30th will see the release of ROADS, the highly anticipated debut album from classical crossover artist CHRIS MANN. ROADS arrives via Faircraft/Universal Republic, a new imprint headed up by multi-platinum producer and veteran A&R executive Ron Fair (Mary J. Blige, the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, The Pussycat Dolls, Il Volo, Christina Aguilera), who also served as the album's executive producer.

ELVIS & MADONNA Comes to DVD Today, 10/30

Breaking Glass Pictures previously announced today's October 30 DVD Release of Marcelo Laffitte's ELVIS & MADONNA (SRP $24.99). During its run, 'Elvis & Madonna' has screened at over 30 film festivals, including Tribeca, Frameline, the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival, Montreal Image + Nation, and Philadelphia QFest.

Lindsay Posner to Direct New Adaptation of THE TURN OF THE SCREW at the Almeida, Jan 18-March 16

Lindsay Posner returns to the Almeida to direct Rebecca Lenkiewicz' new stage adaptation of Henry James' The Turn of the Screw from 18 January - 16 March 2013, with press night on 24 January. Designs are by Peter McKintosh with lighting by Tim Mitchell and sound by John Leonard. Casting for The Turn of the Screw will be announced shortly. The Turn of the Screw is presented in Association with Act Productions Limited, Sonia Friedman Productions and Hammer Theatre of Horror.

BSO SuperPops Will Present the Canadian Tenors on Thanksgiving Weekend

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) SuperPops welcomes The Canadian Tenors, led by conductor Michael Rossi, to the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall on Thanksgiving weekend, with performances on Friday, November 23 and Saturday, November 24 at 8 p.m., and on Sunday, November 25 at 3 p.m. The Tenors, who have sung with such superstars as Sting, Sheryl Crow, Sarah McLachlan, Neil Young and Sir Paul McCartney, will bring their blend of pop and classic songs to Baltimore audiences.

Marin Ireland Stars in Yale Rep and A.R.T.'s MARIE ANTOINETTE; Casting Complete!

Yale Repertory Theatre, in a co-production with American Repertory Theater, presents the world premiere of Marie Antoinette by David Adjmi, directed by Rebecca Taichman. Marie Antoinette will be performed at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street) October 26 through November 17. Opening Night is Thursday, November 1. The cast includes Fred Arsenault, Hannah Cabell, David Greenspan, Marin Ireland, Vin Knight, Jo Lampert, Polly Lee, Steven Rattazzi, Jake Silbermann, Teale Sperling, Brian Wiles, and Ashton Woerz.

Jean Paul Gaultier is Coming to Rotterdam for Exhibition

In the spring of 2013, the Kunsthal Rotterdam will present the exhibition 'The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk'. Gaultier has shaped the look of fashion over the last 35 years with his avant-garde fashion creations and cutting-edge designs. The first international exhibition of this celebrated and famed French couturier's work provides a spectacular overview of his extensive oeuvre. Initiated and produced by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in collaboration with the Maison Jean Paul Gaultier-Paris and in Rotterdam, with the Kunsthal, the exhibition brings to life the world of Gaultier and gives a unique opportunity to visitors to have access to haute couture, stage and movie costumes.

Rockville Centre's Madison Theatre to Present LONG ISLAND EXPRESS PLAYS and CELEBRITY AUTOBIOGRAPHY, 10/28 & 29

The Madison Theatre at Molloy College of Rockville Centre, New York (Angelo Fraboni, Artistic Director), will present a benefit reading of Long Island Express Plays, written by Eugene Pack, on Sunday, October 28, at 3pm. The reading will star Noah Fleiss ("Fringe"), Helen Hanft (Moonstruck), Carol Kane ("Cheers," Princess Bride, "Taxi"), Natasha Lyonne (American Pie, "Weeds"), and Dayle Reyfel (Drama Desk Winner for Celebrity Autobiography).

Katy Perry Performs on Comedy Central's NIGHT OF TOO MANY STARS Tonight, 10/21

COMEDY CENTRAL previously announced that international superstar Katy Perry joined the all-star roster of celebrities participating in the network's biennial autism benefit hosted by Jon Stewart.
