Last night's premiere of "Rising Star" offered viewers a surprise performer--Macy Kate, a singer from St. Petersburg, Florida, who was selected to compete on the basis of her 15 second Instagram audition video for a cover of Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive."

Pippi Longstocking: The Family Musical, based on the beloved novel by Astrid Lindgren, will play Todays at 2pm and 5pm and Sundays at 2pm from June 14* - Aug. 3 at Main Street Theater-Chelsea Market, 4617 Montrose Boulevard in the Museum District.
