The 27th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) will present Matt Damon with the Chairman's Award at its annual Awards Gala.

Stranded on Mars, a NASA astronaut (Matt Damon) struggles to survive on the arid planet while his ground crew races to mount a rescue mission, in this interplanetary epic from director Ridley Scott. The Martian is scheduled to hit theatres on October 2, 2015.

AMC announced today the season two premiere of “Halt and Catch Fire” on Sunday, May 31 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

According to Deadline, Emmy winner James Cromwell has joined the cast of AMC's drama HALT AND CATCH FIRE.

AMC today announced extended catch-up viewing opportunities via AMC On Demand, AMC.com and Netflix of the complete first seasons of the network's drama series “TURN: Washington's Spies” and “Halt and Catch Fire.” The catch-up airings for both series will run in expanded windows prior to the upcoming second season spring 2015 premieres.
