Artists' Exchange & Gateways to Change to Present 'Fall Out of Summer' Festival, 9/22

Artists' Exchange and Gateways to Change, Inc. are pleased to announce the 6th annual Fall Out of Summer Arts Festival to be held on Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 11am to 5pm in the lots surrounding Artists' Exchange and Citizens Bank. The festival will feature live music and theater, artisans, art activities and contests, food trucks and more. Admission is free for kids 12 & under, with a regular admission of $1 to benefit Artists' Exchange's programs.

Signature Theatre presents the world premiere of stop. reset., running August 20 through September 29, 2013 with a September 8 opening night in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Written and directed by Regina Taylor, the play features cast members Michi Barall(Signature's Queens Boulevard, An Oresteia) as Deb, Teagle Bougere (Wings, A Raisin in the Sun) as Chris, Ismael Cruz Cordova ('The Good Wife') as J., LaTanya Richardson Jackson (The Fighting Temptations) as Jan, Carl Lumbly (Jitney, 'Alias') as Alex Ames and Donald Sage MacKay ('Scrubs') as Tim. ACT to Stage Open-Captioned Performance of 1776, 10/3

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) is pleased to offer an open captioned performance ofTony Award-winning director Frank Galati's triumphant new staging of the musical 1776 on Thursday, October 3 at 8 p.m., at A.C.T.'s Geary Theater (415 Geary Street, San Francisco). Special seats have been reserved for hearing-impaired audience members who would like an optimal view of the digital screen. These tickets (located in the Orchestra section) are $40 per person and available by visiting at act-sf.org/1776 (select the "caption" tab) or by calling A.C.T. at 415.749.2228.

Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater Opens ONE SLIGHT HITCH Tonight

As their daughter's wedding day descends into a riotous farce, Doc and Delia Coleman rediscover their marriage and their souls in Lewis Black's One Slight Hitch, opening at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater tonight, July 27. Black, the popular political comedian featured on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart brings us an astonishing script that has been called a cross between The Philadelphia Story and Noises Off. Stage, TV, and film stars Mark Linn-Baker and Lizbeth Mackay are Doc and Delia Coleman.
