AliveWire Theatrics Presents World Premiere of BESHARET 3/5-3/27

AliveWire Theatrics presents the World Premiere of Besharet, written by Chana Porter and directed by Scott Rodrigue. Besharet is the company's inaugural theatrical production, and runs from March 5 - 27, 2011 in a limited engagement at the 9th Space theater, located at 150 1st Avenue (home of Performance Space 122) in NYC. Previews begin March 5 for a March 7 opening.

Howl! Arts Project presents the New York premiere of THE SUNKEN LIVING ROOM - David Caudle's comic portrait of a sexually naive teenage boy and his family in 1970s Miami - helmed by famed Italian director Enrico Maria Lamanna, with performances September 14, 25 and 26 at 8pm at Theatre 80 (St. Mark's Place).

Belber, Laws, Reitz et al. Set for 'TheaterJam' at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 3/28

In celebration of its 15th Anniversary season, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater will present theaterjam, a one-day festival featuring the work of many of the company's favorite playwrights, actors and directors. The event will take place at the Rattlestick Theatre (224 Waverly Place - off Seventh Avenue South between West 11th & Perry Streets) on Sunday, March 28th. Doors will open at 3:00pm. There is a $10 admission charge (cash only) for all day entry - and includes one free beer! There will even be a raffle drawing for amazing prizes. Patrons are free to come and go as they please and attend any - or all! - of the festival's many offerings.

Rehearsals start today, Thursday, July 2, for Slipping, written by Daniel Talbott and directed by Kirsten Kelly. Following rave reviews Too Much Memory, written by Keith Reddin and Meg Gibson, and directed by Ms. Gibson, has sold out its run through its closing on Monday, December 22, at the Fourth Street Theatre, 83 East 4th Street. The Rising Phoenix Repertory and Piece by Piece production opened Tuesday, December 9, to rave reviews as part of New York Theatre Workshop's Jonathan Larson Lab. All performances are sold out. Those wishing to be put on a waiting should arrive at the theatre 45 minutes prior to curtain.
