The 25th New York Cabaret Convention continues and BroadwayWorld was once again there! The 3rd segment featured hosted by Andrea Marcovicci and Jeff Harnar featured performances by Andrea Marcovicci, Jeff Harnar, Gabrielli, Anthony Nunziata, Rita Gardner, Brent Barrett, Anna Bergman, Richard Holbrook, Jeffifer Sheehan, Carole J. Corinna Sowers-Adler will star in 'By Request - New York Moments' at The Metropolitan Room tonight, September 27, 2014 at 4pm. Corinna continues the 'By Request' series with a very special show including songs and the memories and special moments behind why that song has been inspirational or life changing, all containing the theme of New York City.

On Monday, September 15, the Broadway at Birdland concert series presented Natalie Douglas in 'Hello Dolly,' an all-new concert celebrating the music of Dolly Parton.

NiCori Studios and Productions in association with the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, Music at the Mansion, on Sunday, September 21, at 3pm. Performers include Mary Lahti, Garry Novikoff and Stearns Matthews. The featured performer in the 'Young Musician Moment' will be Ellie Kallay.

Le Cirque Cafe started it's Musical Mondays series with an elegant, sophisticated cabaret & jazz singer who seems to be made for the legendary restaurant. Cole Rumbough has an excellent trio backing him up, and his swinging romantic American Songbook interpretations make the Le Cirque Cafe experience a special night when he's appearing. The cafe was filled and 'A Table at Le Cirque' had to be reserved in advance as Cole's many fans turned out for the excellent food and music.

NATALIE DOUGLAS - the acclaimed vocalist hailed as "sensational" by Time Out New York and "stirring" by The New York Daily News - will debut the new concert "HELLO DOLLY…THE MUSIC OF DOLLY PARTON" on Monday, September 15 at 9:30 PM. Douglas honors another notably-buxom performer: the beloved singer, actor, songwriter and Broadway composer Dolly Parton. Selections including songs that Dolly wrote such as "Jolene," "Coat of Many Colors" and "I Just Might" from the Broadway musical 9 to 5, in addition to numbers that Dolly creatively covered like Neil Young's "After The Gold Rush" and Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven." Natalie will be joined by her longtime Musical Director Mark Hartman (Broadway's Avenue Q, Sondheim on Sondheim) on piano, accordion and mandolin; Michael Blanco on bass; Scott Kuney on guitar and banjo; Joe Choroszewski on drums and Shanna Sharp on acoustic guitar.

NATALIE DOUGLAS - the acclaimed vocalist hailed as 'sensational' by Time Out New York and 'stirring' by The New York Daily News - will introduce New York audiences to two unique new solo concerts at Birdland Jazz Club in September. 'FOUR WOMEN,' which celebrates the music of Dr. Nina Simone, Lena Horne, Abbey Lincoln and Billie Holiday, will have its US premiere on Monday, September 8 at 7:00 PM. The exciting evening of songs connected with these dynamic, iconic women includes 'Can't Help Lovin' That Man,' 'Throw It Away,' 'God Bless The Child,' and, of course, Dr. Simone's legendary composition, 'Four Women.' This program debuted in London earlier in 2014 and received a rare five-star review in The Times of London, which called her 'a true force of nature.'

Those foot-stopping aggies, those friendly ladies of the night (and day), Miss Mona, Sherriff Ed Earl Dodd, the side-stepping Governor, and master media manipulator Melvin P. Thorpe will populate Broadway in the brand-new production of the Larry L. King - Pete Masterson - Carol Hall musical The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.

After more than two decades of exciting contribution to the New York musical scene, The Mabel Mercer Foundation hits a new high this autumn by producing its 25th annual New York Cabaret Convention for four evenings, October 20th-23rd. All performances begin at 6 o'clock at the Rose Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Frederick P. Rose Hall at Broadway and 60th Street.

Dubbed "The greatest white female singer in the world" by none other than Ella Fitzgerald, star vocalist Marilyn Maye took Provincetown audiences by storm in her highly anticipated debut at The Art House three summers ago, and again each year since. She returns to The Art House by popular demand this summer on August 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 at 7:00 PM featuring Billy Stritch on the piano.
