The Drama Book Shop is delighted to welcome playwright and librettist Steven Levenson (If I Forget, The Language of Trees) for a discussion and signing to celebrate the publication of his libretto for the hit Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen. Levenson will discuss the musical and his work with fellow playwright and Drama Book Shop Events Manager Steven Carl McCasland.

The Lortel Awards will be presented tonight, May 7, 2017 at NYU Skirball Center beginning at 7:00 PM EST. This year's event will be hosted by actor and comedian, Taran Killam, and will once again serve as a benefit for The Actors Fund.

The Drama Book Shop will welcome playwright and librettist Steven Levenson (If I Forget, The Language of Trees) for a discussion and signing to celebrate the publication of his libretto for the hit Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen. Levenson will discuss the musical and his work with fellow playwright and Drama Book Shop Events Manager Steven Carl McCasland. The Wednesay, May 10th, 5:15 event is free and open to the public, but priority admission is given to those who purchase a copy of the libretto.

MCC Theater will soon present the American Premiere of the play The End of Longing, a new play written by and starring 'Friends' star Matthew Perry in his NYC playwriting and stage acting debuts. Joining Perry in the MCC production will be 'Once Upon a Time' and 'House' star Jennifer Morrison alongside stage and television regulars Quincy Dunn-Baker and Sue Jean Kim.
