The American Writers Museum (AWM) announced during a press conference on October 27 at the Chicago Cultural Center that it has leased a prime space at 180 North Michigan Avenue, one of Chicago's busiest blocks, for its early 2017 opening. The location's proximity to hotels, residential buildings, universities, cultural attractions, Millennium Park, and public transportation provides a vibrant home for the first and only museum to engage the public in celebrating American writers and their influence on our history, our identity, our culture, and our daily lives. New Line Cinema has just released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming horror film THE CONJURING, set to hit theaters on July 19. The film is based upon the case files of married demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren. "The Conjuring" stars Academy Award nominee Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as the Warrens, and Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor as Roger and Carolyn Perron, residents of the house. The first professional gig on Bill Forrester's resume is Assistant Scenic Designer for a 1959 NY summer stock production starring Gloria Swanson & Groucho Marx. Not a bad start. Fifty two years later, Theatre Puget Sound is thrilled to announce that Bill Forrester will become the 14th individual to receive the illustrious Gregory A. Falls Sustained Achievement Award. The award will be presented at the 3rd Annual Gregory Awards Ceremony being held at ACT Theatre on October 17, 2011 as part of ARTS CRUSH month.
