As we near the end of 2021, get your entertainment fix with these three great offerings!

The Barrow Group announced today their 2017 Benefit Parties, which will celebrate the work of TBG's long-successful producing theatre company while also raising funds for student scholarships to support greater diversity at The Barrow Group. TBG will honor Shimite Obialo and Vaughn Buffalo, two supporters who have championed the company's mission to create excellent theatre, using an aesthetic that encourages authentic, clear, and spontaneous storytelling.

Following the Saturday matinee on April 19, there was Special Talk-Back at the new Off-Broadway musical revue, "Inventing Mary Martin" with family members Heller Halliday, daughter of Mary Martin (who appeared with her in Peter Pan), and Preston Hagman, Ms. Martin's grandson and son of Larry Hagman, at the York Theatre Company's home at Saint Peter's. The York Theatre Company continues its 2013-2014 season with the world premiere of the new musical, Inventing Mary Martin, conceived, written and directed by Stephen Cole, with music supervision and arrangements by David Krane, music direction by Lawrence Goldberg, co-directed and choreographed by Bob Richard, and original music and lyrics by legendary composers Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein, Vernon Duke & Howard Dietz, Kurt Weill & Ogden Nash, Noel Coward, Irving Berlin, Jule Styne & Carolyn Leigh, Howard Dietz & Arthur Schwartz, and Tom Jones & Harvey Schmidt, among others. York Theatre Company opened the first New York City revival of the classic Off-Broadway hit Closer Than Ever, with Lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr. and Music by David Shire, last night, June 20.
