After selling out the initial engagement in just three hours, New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) has announced an additional three weeks of performances of LAZARUS by David Bowie and Enda Walsh (Once, Tony Award), inspired by the novel The Man Who Fell to Earth by Walter Tevis, and directed by Ivo van Hove (Hedda Gabler, More Stately Mansions, Obie Awards).

Tickets for LAZARUS, the second production of the New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) (Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker) 2015/16 Season, will go on sale today beginning at 12pm EST. Single tickets for LAZARUS are $95. A limited number of $25 CheapTix will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for the first two performances.  BALLOON BOY: THE MUSICAL, a new musical featuring book, music and lyrics by Billy Recce, will be presented in the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival Developmental Reading Series.

THE BLACK BOX, downtown Franklin's new theater, music, and event venue, presents a wide-ranging lineup of live music entertainment this April. Events are slated to feature singer-songwriter Ayla Brown, Opera for Kids, and jazz vocalist April Hall. TheatreZone artistic director Mark Danni today revealed the cast of five performers who stage a 'street theater' production of a modern-day fairy tale in Brooklyn - The Musical. According to Danni, Brooklyn is 'lost treasure of Broadway' - a poignant story about a French girl who loses her mother and comes to the United States in search of the father she's never known.
