Tony Award-winning Broadway musical In The Heights will return to London this year following a critically acclaimed sell-out UK premiere at Southwark Playhouse in 2014. The production will transfer to King's Cross Theatre on 3rd October 2015 and is booking for a strictly limited four week period until 1st November 2015. Tickets go on sale at 10.00am on Friday 10th July 2015.

WhatsOnStage has confirmed that Southwark Playhouse's IN THE HEIGHTS will transfer to London. No word yet on dates or a venue, but BroadwayWorld will bring you the news as soon as we have the official details! 

Last night saw the world premiere of new musical The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole at the Curve in Leicester. Being a champion for original writing and aptly being author Sue Townsend's home town, it was only right that this show sees its debut here. Many people hold the books in high regard - myself included - and watching it last night made me reminisce. Set in 1980s Leicester, The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole centres around a boy aged 13 and ¾ who is essentially battling through adolescent life; from spots to girls to bullies, Adrian is encountering all of them! Townsend's books are written in Adrian's words and in diary format so I was incredibly intrigued about how this could successfully be adapted for stage.

Curve today announces the full cast for the world premiere of Sue Townsend's The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾ - The Musical. The cast includes Rosemary Ashe (Grandma), Cameron Blakely (Mr Lucas), Amy Booth-Steel (Miss Elf/Doreen Slater/Mrs Lucas), Neil Ditt (George Mole),Kirsty Hoiles (Pauline Mole) and Neil Salvage (Bert Baxter).

Next Fall, by award-winning writer Geoffrey Nauffts, will play at Southwark Playhouse from Wednesday 24 September - Saturday 25 October. Press night is Monday 29 September at 8.00pm.

Perfect Pitch Musicals and South Hill Park have announced the world premiere production of new musical FROM UP HERE, which will play four performances from tonight 13 - Friday 15 June 2012 at South Hill Park Arts Centre, featuring a West End cast including Leila Benn Harris, Tommy Sherlock, Russell Walker, Lisa Kerr and Tony Kemp.
