The annual festival West End LIVE - organised by Westminster City Council and the Society of London Theatre, in association with MasterCard - returned to Trafalgar Square yesterday, 22nd June and continues today, 23rd June 2013, for a weekend of free entertainment from some of London's top theatre productions and performers. LET IT BE, the spectacular West End show celebrating the music of The Beatles has announced an extension to its current run at the Savoy Theatre in London following an announcement last week that a production will also open on Broadway in July this year. The show is now booking until 18 January 2014. The show has established itself as one of the West End's most popular shows since it premiered in September 2012.
Atlantic Theater Company presents the world premiere of Rod McLachlan's new play Good Television, directed by Bob Krakower. Dallas Theater Center hosts the fourth annual Skokos Learning Lab Showcase, the culmination of the Ted and Shannon Skokos Learning Lab collaboration between DTC and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (BTW), on Saturday, April 27 in the Studio Theatre at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre. The performance is free and open to the general public. No tickets are required.
