The Fab Four are taking Broadway by storm with Let It Be, a spectacular concert experience at Broadway's St. James Theatre. Previews are now underway, with an official opening night set for tomorrow, Wednesday, July 24th. The show will play a strictly limited engagement through Sunday, December 29th. The annual festival West End LIVE - organised by Westminster City Council and the Society of London Theatre, in association with MasterCard - returned to Trafalgar Square yesterday, 22nd June and continues today, 23rd June 2013, for a weekend of free entertainment from some of London's top theatre productions and performers. LET IT BE, the spectacular West End show celebrating the music of The Beatles has announced an extension to its current run at the Savoy Theatre in London following an announcement last week that a production will also open on Broadway in July this year. The show is now booking until 18 January 2014. The show has established itself as one of the West End's most popular shows since it premiered in September 2012.

Atlantic Theater Company presents the world premiere of Rod McLachlan's new play Good Television, directed by Bob Krakower. The cast will feature Talia Balsam, Jessica Cummings, John Magaro, Kelly McAndrew, Zoe Perry, Luke Robertson, Andrew Stewart-Jones, and Ned Van Zandt. Dallas Theater Center hosts the fourth annual Skokos Learning Lab Showcase, the culmination of the Ted and Shannon Skokos Learning Lab collaboration between DTC and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (BTW), on Saturday, April 27 in the Studio Theatre at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre. The performance is free and open to the general public. No tickets are required.

There will be an added note of celebration this Friday when the company of LET IT BE perform tracks from The Beatles' first album, Please Please Me, marking the 50th anniversary of the album's release.

Soho Theatre has announced a full summer season of theatre, comedy and cabaret to be presented both at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and in London. In theatre, the group presents new work from Phil Porter, Will Eno and Joel Horwood. In Edinburgh and in London Soho presents acts from across the globe, including Barry Award Winner Doctor Brown and the joint Best Newcomer Winners from the Melbourne Comedy Festival Matt Okine and Ronny Chieng. Plus the return of the Soho Literary Festival.

Misshapen Theatre has announced the return of their science fiction theatre night BLAST OFF tonight, 10th July at 7pm in the Soho Theatre. The latest episode of Blast Off brings together a brand new lineup of science-fiction plays by writers Gabriel Bisset-Smith, Joshua Conkel, Afsaneh Grey, Sara Pascoe, Simon Anderson as well as comedy from John Luke Roberts.
