THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR, Starring Michael Urie, Will Move to New World Stages

Red Bull Theater has announced that their acclaimed production of The Government Inspector, directed by Mr. Berger, now at The Duke on 42nd Street, will transfer to New World Stages for six weeks only, beginning July 5th.  This limited Off-Broadway engagement will continue through August 20th.

Though Anton Chekhov popularized the notion that there's nothing sadder than a Russian comedy, playgoers seeking a few more yuks than can be found in a night at THE CHERRY ORCHARD can look to one of The Good Doctor's countrymen, Nikolai Gogol, whose rip-roaring classic The Government Inspector is granted a gloriously silly mounting by Red Bull Theater.

Two River Theater to Stage Colio's ROPES

Two River Theater, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, announces the full cast and creative team for Ropes, a play written by Barbara Colio, translated by Maria Alexandria Beech, and directed by Lisa Rothe. Performances will begin in Two River's Marion Huber Theater, 21 Bridge Avenue, on Saturday, February 20 and continue through Sunday, March 20. The Representatives to Stage Site-Specific Re-Imagining of VERITAS at The Cave

The Representatives in association with The Olmsted Salon present a site-specific re-imagining of VERITAS by Stan Richardson, previews Thursday, October 21 and Opening Monday, October 26. The theatre for the production is The Cave @ St. George's in Gramercy Park, 209 East 16th Street, NYC 10003.
