Off Broadway's most fashionable show, Love, Loss and What I Wore, welcomed its newest cast with a celebration immediately following the 8:00 PM performance on Thursday, April 1, 2010. Joining the production are Lucy DeVito ('It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'), Judy Gold (25 Questions for a Jewish Mother), Melissa Joan Hart ('Sabrina the Teenage Witch'), Jayne Houdyshell (Well) and Shirley Knight (As Good As It Gets). BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the cast, in addition to playwrights Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, director Karen Carpenter, producer Daryl Roth, and celebrity guests Elisa Donovan ('Sabrina the Teenage Witch,' Clueless), Diane Neal ('Law & Order: SVU') and more at the opening night party arrivals.

Melissa Joan Hart joins the cast this week of Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's smash-hit Off Broadway show, Love, Loss, and What I Wore, which has been playing to sold-out houses at the Westside Theatre (407 W 43rd Street). Hart will be a part of the star-studded cast (Lucy DeVito, Judy Gold, Shirley Knight, Jayne Houdyshell) from March 31st, 2010 through April 25th.

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Anna Chlumsky (My Girl), Julie Halston (Gypsy) and Brooke Shields ('Lipstick Jungle') will join the previously announced Doris Roberts in Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's smash hit show Love, Loss, and What I Wore beginning April 28 (through May 23). It was also announced today that Love, Loss, and What I Wore alumnae Lucy DeVito and Jayne Houdyshell will return to the show as part of the April cast (March 31 - April 25), which also includes Judy Gold, Melissa Joan Hart and Shirley Knight.

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Michele Lee (Tale of the Allergist's Wife), Tony Award-winner Debra Monk (Curtains), Tracee Ellis Ross ('Girlfriends') and Casey Wilson ('Saturday Night Live') will join the rotating cast of Love, Loss and What I Wore. They join the show January 6 through January 31, 2009, alongside the returning Katie Finneran. The off-Broadway hit, Love, Loss and What I Wore will welcome a new cast on February 3, including funny-women Janeane Garofalo, Carol Kane, June Diane Raphael and Caroline Rhea, The New York Times reports. Beginning March 3, they will be followed by newcomers Fran Drescher and Didi Conn. As previously reported, Love, Loss and What I Wore has recouped its capitalization costs in only 11 weeks (short by any standards) and is now being considered for both sit-down engagements as well as a national tour for 2011.

Variety is reporting that the Off-Broadway play, Love, Loss and What I Wore has recouped its capitalization costs in only 11 weeks (short by any standards) and is now being considered for both sit-down engagements as well as a national tour for 2011.

Rhea Perlman joined Ryan Reynolds, Martin Short, and Rita Wilson at the 2009 Drama Desk Award winner Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words on Monday, December 7, at 7:30pm and 9:30pm at New York's Triad Theater. The New York Times reports that for tonight's performance of 'Love, Loss, and What I Wore' an absent Kristin Chenoweth will be replaced by Katie Finneran, who has previously appeared in the show. The press representative remarked that Chenoweth was out due to illness and is expected to return to the show shortly.
