Cygnet Theatre has announced a Season 13 lineup featuring seven productions sure to take audiences on a rollicking theatrical journey. Adding a new creative influence to the season will be Cygnet's most recent addition, Rob Lutfy, who has been appointed as Cygnet's Associate Artistic Director and will start in the summer.

Following a sold-out and critically acclaimed start to their 18th season, Theatre Exile returns to present the Philadelphia premiere of The Whale by Samuel D. Hunter from February 5 to March 1, 2015 at Theatre Exile's Studio X, 1340 S. 13th Street (13th and Reed Street)

The three men are left to sort through the tangled history of slavery, race, and religion in Pacific Theatre's production of The Whipping Man by Matthew Lopez.

Directed by Austin Pendleton, BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY begins previews tonight, January 16, 2015 and will officially open on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Second Stage Theatre's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street).

Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer) and The Amas Musical Theatre Lab will present staged readings for the New York premiere of I Am, I Will, I Do, a new musical with book, music and lyrics by Dan Manjovi. Directed byChristopher Scott with Musical Direction by Steven Gross, the readings will be held on Monday, February 9th at 6pm and Tuesday, February 10th at 3pm & 7pm at Shetler Studios - Penthouse.

Atlantic Theater Company Artistic Director Neil Pepe and Casting Director Todd Thaler will teach a special Director's Lab for the Actor intensive class on Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Atlantic Theater Company's rehearsal studios (76 Ninth Avenue, Suite 537).

A Queer Theater Company has announced a strictly limited run of their bare bones, developmental production of Daniel Talbott's new drama GRAY, featuring Chris Bellant (Fairfield), Will Pullen (Scarcity, Punk Rock), and Samantha Soule (Killers and Other Family, And I And Silence). The play will be staged for five bare bones performances only at the Susan Batson Studio--300 West 43rd Street, Room 510--January 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd, all at 2 p.m.

Walnut Street Theatre's Independence Studio on 3 continues its season with David Mamet's comedy A Life in the Theatre. Philadelphia audiences will be the first to see this production before it becomes the fifth national tour of a Walnut Street Theatre production. A Life in the Theatre opens in Philadelphia tonight, January 15th and runs through February 1st in the intimate Independence Studio on 3.

Arden Theatre Company continues its 27th season of great stories with Under the Skin, a world premiere by local playwright Michael Hollinger. Terrence J. Nolen directs. Under the Skin runs from tonight, January 15, 2015 - March 15, 2015, on the Arden's Arcadia Stage at 40 N. 2nd Street in Philadelphia.

- Cygnet Theatre will continue its run of presenting Southern California premieres with Sons of the Prophet, the latest work by Stephen Karam (Speech and Debate). Premiering at New York's Roundabout Theatre in 2011, Karam was hailed as 'a major new voice in American Theater.' His brutally funny and explosive comedy was a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize and has received multiple other awards including the 2012 Drama Critics Circle, Outer Critics Circle, Lucille Lortel and Hull-Warriner Awards for Best Play. The production runs tonight, January 15 - February 15 at Cygnet Theatre in Old Town. Opening Night for Media is Saturday, January 24, 8 pm.

?Now ready to unveil its newly remodeled space, the Moth Theatre Company is proud to announce its return with a new production of Proof by David Auburn, winner of the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play. Directed by John Markland, Proof will open tonight, January 15 and run through February 15 only.

?Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of the humorous and poignant "Painting Churches" by Tina Howe, on Monday, February 9, at 7 p.m. A Connecticut theatrical family - Jack Gilpin, his wife Ann McDonough, and their daughter Betty Gilpin, who currently is a leading character in television's "Nurse Jackie" - are cast members. Director is Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist and curator of the playreading series. Tickets are $20 each.

The Menier Chocolate Factory today announces the dates for UK premiere of Jonathan Tolins' Buyer & Cellar - this one man comedy was a major Off-Broadway hit in 2013. Buyer & Cellar opens on 19 March, with previews from 12 March, and runs until 2 May.

I am thrilled to announce that Joshua Harmon'sSignificant Other will receive its world premiere this spring at the Laura Pels Theatre directed by Trip Cullman. This is Josh's second production at Roundabout, following the phenomenal success of his first Roundabout production, Bad Jews, which premiered in the Roundabout Underground in 2012 and moved upstairs to the Pels in 2013, where it was honored with numerous Outer Critics Circle and Lucille Lortel Award nominations (as well as a Lortel win for Tracee Chimo).
