Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc. announces the seven plays and musicals that will comprise the 2015-16 Main Stage Season at Playhouse on Park. The award winning theatre continues its mission to ensure every performance in the Main Stage Season educates, entertains, and most importantly, challenges our audiences. Paramount to this mission is our diverse programming, which challenges our patrons to consider theatre in all forms.

Sponsored in part by 4Culture, Mirror Stage's 10th Feed Your Mind season closes with The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity by Kristoffer Diaz on April 11 & 12, 2015 at the Ethnic Cultural Theatre in Seattle's University District. Directed by Suzanne M. Cohen, Feed Your Mind: The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity features Eric Ray Anderson (Everett K. Olson), Marcel Davis (Chad Deity), David Natale (Ring Announcer/Joe Jabroni/Billy Heartland/Old Glory), Arvind Srinivasan (Vigneshwar Paduar), and Jake Ynzunza (Macedonia Guerra).

Tony® Award-winner Michael Cerveris ('Bruce Bechdel'), three time Tony® Award nominee Judy Kuhn('Helen Bechdel'), Beth Malone ('Alison'), Obie Award-winner Sydney Lucas ('Small Alison'),Emily Skeggs ('Medium Alison'), and more will reprise their roles from The Public Theater's acclaimed production of Fun Home on Broadway this Spring. Joel Perez and Roberta Colindrez will also return to the cast, with Zell Morrow and Oscar Williams joining the production as Alison's brothers John and Christian respectively. With music by four-time Tony® Award nominee Jeanine Tesori, a book and lyrics by Tony® Award nominee Lisa Kron and direction by Drama Desk nominee Sam Gold, Fun Home will now begin preview performances at the Circle in the Square Theatre (1633 Broadway, NYC) on Friday, March 27th, with an official opening night set for Sunday, April 19th. Rising Phoenix Repertory, Weathervane Productions, and Rattlestick Playwrights Theater present the world premiere of Thieves, written by Charlotte Miller and directed by Daniel Talbott, at the Monroe Forum Theatre at the El Portal in North Hollywood. Thieves tells the story of a dysfunctional family in East Texas that descends into chaos when their matriarch dies. The show opened on March 20, 2015 with the production running through Saturday, April 4, 2015. BroadwayWorld has photos from the opening night festivities below!

Penn State Centre Stage will present the award-winning musical, Dogfight, April 1-11 at the Downtown Theatre Centre. With music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and a book by Peter Duchan, the production will be directed by Richard Roland, music directed by Jordan Jones-Reese, and will feature an exciting cast of current Penn State students.

An old love can be an irresistible force, especially for people in their autumn years. Is marriage an immoveable object? 'Old Flame,' a new play by Richard Ploetz, weighs the force of an old romance against the strength of a 50-year marriage, examining our vulnerability to rediscovered passion, no matter what our age. Theater for the New City will present the piece April 24 to May 17, directed by James Glossman.

The American Theatre Wing recognizes the recipients of the 2015 Jonathan Larson Grants: writing team Tim Rosser (composer) & Charlie Sohne (composer) receiving $10,000, Sam Willmott (composer/lyricist) receiving $10,000 and a week-long residency at the Running Deer Musical Theatre Lab, and Max Vernon (composer/lyricist) receiving $10,000.

Long Wharf Theatre's inaugural Contemporary American Voices Festival, a weekend of new play readings, will take place on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, 2015.

The Old Globe is delighted to welcome one of the true geniuses of the American theatre, Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman, who makes her long-awaited San Diego directing debut with an enchanting theatrical spectacle with live music and sumptuous visuals, The White Snake, continuing the Globe's 80th Anniversary festivities as part of the Balboa Park Centennial Celebration. The Southern California Premiere of The White Snake, written and directed by Zimmerman, will run tonight, March 21 through April 26 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

Yale Repertory Theatre announces its 2015-16 Season, which will include three world premieres and two classics.

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced complete casting for the world-premiere musical Ever After, directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes, Nice Work If You Can Get It), featuring a book and lyrics by Marcy Heisler and music by Zina Goldrich.

Producer Kevin McCollum announced today that Broadway's Hand to God will (yet again) offer early theatergoers the chance to catch this new American play at a special price: $37.50 per ticket, in recognition of the 37 (or 38) productions opening on Broadway during the 2014-2015 Season, depending on whether or not Wolf Hall counts as one or two productions. A limited quantity of select mezzanine seats at this special price will be on-sale beginning Monday, March 23rd for performances from March 23rd through April 6th and must be purchased during a limited one week on-sale window (through 11:00 PM on Sunday, March 29th). There is also a limit of 4 tickets per purchase, and tickets will be available online, via phone or at the box office.

The Dio - Dining & Entertainment, Livingston County's only professional dinner theatre, is very excited to produce the beautiful, and rarely produced musical, Violet.

Lincoln Center Theater has announced the first two productions of its 2015-2016 season: DADA WOOF PAPA HOT, a new play by Peter Parnell, to be directed by Scott Ellis, beginning performances Thursday, October 15 and opening Monday, November 9 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater; and the LCT3 world premiere production of KILL FLOOR, a new play by Abe Koogler, to be directed by Lila Neugebauer, which will begin performances Saturday, October 3, open on Monday, October 19, and run through Sunday, November 15 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

In the coming months, Broadway will welcome a fresh crop of productions- many of which will mark the Broadway debuts for a slew of talented actors. Whether they are fresh faces or established stars, these Broadway babies will soon take their very first bows on some of the grandest stages in the world.
