Things change when she is appointed guardian to her 10-year-old nephew Patrick. When the Great Depression hits, Mame becomes virtually penniless overnight - trying to make ends meet at any number of odd jobs, including one as a retail sales clerk, quite often failing but refusing to allow the times to dictate her mood or dampen her spirits.

The 92nd Street Y has announced casting for the 2010 season of Lyrics & Lyricists. Lucie Arnaz, Debby Boone, Capathia Jenkins, James Naughton and Raúl Esparza are among the performers who will present the music of the Desi Arnaz Orchestra, Johnny Burke and Hoagy Carmichael. Wayside Theatre Artistic Director Warner Crocker today announced Robbie Limon, who wowed our sold-out audiences as Hank Williams in Hank Williams Story- Lost Highway and Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story and in Southern Crossroads, will be appearing with his band, Robbie Limon Band and others for a Benefit performance for Wayside Theatre on Sunday, November 15th at 7:00 PM at the Wayside Theatre, Middletown, Virginia.
