Red Mountain Theatre Company is partnering with Children's of Alabama to present Songs of Hope: An Evening with David Friedman on Wednesday, February 20, at the RMTC Cabaret Theatre (301 19th Street North).

On February 23, 24 and 25 Lyrics & Lyricists tours Miss Peggy Lee's hip musical landscape with guest artistic director Billy Stritch and vocalists Barbara Fasano, La Tanya Hall and Gabrielle Stravelli. Cabaret legend Marilyn Maye, who frequently includes Peggy Lee classics in her shows, joins the show as a special guest.

On Jan. 21, Broadway performers, including Lucille Ball's daughter, paid tribute to late composer Marvin Hamlisch at the McCallum Theatre. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the event below.

Last night I spent what was my hands-down favorite evening in the theatre in the past several months thanks to the talents of David Zippel, Jason Graae, Christiane Noll, Lillias White, Karen Ziemba and the marvelous melodies of Marvin Hamlisch. With book and lyrics by Eleanor Albano and Anthony Barnao, and music by Ron Abel, this reading of Rockwell will be directed by Glenn Casale.

Coyote StageWorks launched its fourth season on November 23 with the Tony-nominated comedy "Souvenir" and follows up with a starry reading of THE WOMEN on January 19.

Coyote StageWorks launches its fourth season on November 23 with the Tony-nominated comedy "Souvenir" and follows up with a season that consists of "a little something for everyone". For the second season in a row, all productions will be staged at the Annenberg Theatre which is located at The Palm Springs Museum Of Art in downtown Palm Springs. CSW's mission is to bring affordable, entertaining, and thought-provoking theatre to Palm Springs and the surrounding communities of the Coachella Valley and to create an Actors' Equity Theater of local, regional, and national influence.
